Sirena felt her blood boil when she heard Cara's words.
"Till you die? Huh? Then I will grant your wish!" Sirena scoffed and closed her eyes casting a spell.
Cara felt immense danger looming on her and it triggered the monster within her. The monster within her is now glaring fire, forcing her to accept its existence. She could feel its excitement as it is trying to gain control over her but Cara was hell-bent on not letting it take control over her.
She would rather die than become a monster.
Vulcan and Gabriel also felt Cara's stubbornness and they both looked at each other, silently nodding their heads.
Cara closed her eyes waiting for the strike from the beautiful woman before her. She also prayed to God, to let that strike come fast before Gabriel could do anything to save her and most importantly before the monster within completely takes over. She didn't want Gabriel to get hurt and that's the last thing that Cara ever wished.
She loved Gabriel a lot and didn't want him to see her in that monster form. So, she just wanted everything to end quickly.
"What's happening?" Cara thought while still closing her eyes. It's been a while since the woman before her started attacking her and she felt that threat for her life continuously until a while ago. But now suddenly everything turned very silent as if the fight has ended.
Cara suddenly had a bad premonition in her heart and slowly opened her eyes.
Her breath hitched when she saw Gabriel on the ground with blood scattered everywhere.
She looked around and found everyone in a shocking state and the woman before her is now looking at Gabriel with guilt in her eyes.
Cara gulped and started walking towards Gabriel slowly. She didn't even feel her body shaking as her mind still couldn't comprehend what happened.
She slowly squatted and held Gabriel's face in her palms.
"Gabriel!" she whispered trying to wake up the man but he remained motionless.
"Hey! Get up!" Cara started shaking him up but he still didn't wake up.
Cara felt something snap in her when everything settled in her mind. Something warm started to dash out from her inside with full force and she felt her brain getting fogged with intense emotion.
"Wake him up!" she muttered and glared at Sirena.
"Wake him up!!" (and girl, she snapped!!!)
Roose gasped watching Cara's hair turn into a light golden blackish colour. Everyone widened their eyes when they saw Cara's lower body abruptly change into a golden serpent body and her eyes also turned into golden serpent eyes with darkness and hostility seeping from them.
"Wake him up!!" Cara shouted and the ground beneath Sirena exploded making the latter fly and fall on the ground.
Sirena coughed up blood and looked at Cara in her serpent form.
"How foolish!! Both the friends are equally insane and crazy when it comes to their men!!" Sirena gritted her teeth and slowly stood up.
She didn't even have enough time to stand properly when she again felt her body being thrown into the air. Cara tossed Sirena into the air and hit her with her long serpent body making the latter roll on the ground coughing up more blood.
Sirena gritted her teeth and closed her eyes to cast a spell when she felt Cara circle her body with her tail gripping her suffocatingly tight.
Sirena opened her eyes and cursed under her breath when she saw Cara about to spit fire from her mouth. She closed her eyes again casting a spell quickly when suddenly she felt the grip around her loosen.
She opened her eyes and found Gabriel hugging Cara tightly calming her agitated heart.
Gabriel sighed and hugged Cara tight, gently stroking her hair and kissing her crown from time to time. He felt her bloodlust disappearing slowly but she still didn't come back to her senses completely.
Gabriel always knew that Cara is also similar to them but he never confronted her about it. He was waiting for her patiently to open up to him but, when he found out about her being stubborn in not accepting her powers, he knew that he had to do something about it. Sirena told them about Cara's reluctance in accepting her powers while the latter is still in the chamber with Sedna.
He couldn't watch her being stubborn to the extent of wanting to die, so they all made a plan to make her accept herself, her powers.
"Cara!!" Gabriel exclaimed when he felt her fainted in his arms. He quickly carried her into the Sedna's chamber and was surprised when he saw another cot beside Sedna's.
"Place her over there!" he heard Sirena speak and saw her approaching Cara to examine her. After examining her, Sirena sighed and said "There's nothing to worry about. It's just she is exhausted both mentally and physically. "
Sirena looked at both Sedna and Cara sleeping and muttered softly, "Both are best friends for sure. Both are equally foolish and arrogant to the bones."
"Come out! We have a lot of things to talk about!"
