Carlos was getting his car out; he heard a noise came from behind.
Boom! Carlos' world was shaken when another car suddenly bumped his car. His body staggered to the right; his head hit the car window leaving a crack. "Aaah!" cried Carlos. What a very unlucky day.
A few seconds later, Carlos closed his eyes hoping the impact on the head did not cause any harmful effects on him. After a moment, he heard a knock on the windshield. A beautiful woman about twenty-five years old was looking at him with a scarred face. Carlos understood--She was the driver of the car that bumped him.
Carlos turned off his car then opened the window.
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to, I'm sorry!" The woman panicked.
"It's okay, Miss, I'm fine," Carlos replied, trying to calm the woman down.
"No, it's not. I have harmed you. I'm sorry, I hope I can make amends." She speaks quite fast; both of her hands still in her open mouth in disbelief.
Carlos hopped out and walked towards the part of the car that had just been hit. The woman followed him, still ashamed and afraid of what had happened.
"Hmmm ...." Carlos checking the damage. "Nothing to worry about, the damage to my car wasn't too severe," Carlos said with a smile. The woman noticed Carlos' good looks especially when he smiled.
"Just blisters," Carlos added. He didn't want to make the woman panic anymore.
The woman in front of him was sensually dressed with a low chest, revealing most of her bulging large chest.
The woman immediately took out a check and pen. "No. It's all my fault. The damage I've done is very dangerous. Please take this as compensation." The woman was thrusting a nominally written paper that was more than she should have been.
Carlos shook his head. He refused the woman's offer. "No. It's a lot. I can't accept that. If you have to take responsibility, then come with me and we'll find out how much it actually costs. But I don't think the damage is too severe. And also, I have a brother who can easily fix this damage at a cheap price. So there's nothing to worry about." Carlos stretched his right hand forward and refused the woman's offer.
The woman standing in front of him smiled flirtatiously; she liked the handsome man.
"May I know your name if you don't mind?" asked the woman. She reached out her hand to get acquainted. A smile made the woman's face even more beautiful.
Carlos smiled as well and extended his hand. "I'm Carlos. How about you?"
"Nagita," replied the woman. "Ahm ... if I may ask, what are you doing here?"
"Well, just had an appointment earlier." Carlos smiled; he took off his hand from the woman.
From a distance, Cassandra saw Carlos talking to Nagita. Nagita is Mr. Martin's daughter. They never get along. But what Cassandra doesn't want is that sees her ex-husband currently having fun with Nagita.
"I think we should leave immediately," Cassandra said trying not to attract Nagita's attention. She'd rather have Carlos keep talking to the woman than she would have to serve Nagita.
"Yes, I haven't had breakfast yet. You can accompany me to lunch before going to a meeting with Padden's company," Santiago replied.
But what Cassandra was avoiding happened. An obnoxious loud voice sounded from Nagita. "Hey! Cassandra! It turns out you want to quit your job! I suspect that you do not have good integrity and loyalty at work!" yelled Nagita.
Certainly, some people who were walking downstream around them looked up to make sure that Miss Nagita was talking to the owner of the company.
Cassandra stopped her steps. She wasn't too far from where Nagita was standing.
"We better not meet that girl. It was clear that she was indeed looking for trouble," Santiago suggested, holding both of Cassandra's open shoulders.
As the tall man's hand touched Cassandra's soft skin, Carlos' eyes saw it.
He shouldn't feel so jealous, but there was a feeling in his heart that he couldn't understand why he saw the woman as if he saw his ex-wife.
Cassandra agrees with Santiago's words. But the first reason why Cassandra didn't want to face Nagita is that Carlos was there. But Nagita has no intention of relenting.
"What was your business with that woman?" Nagita asked Carlos, she said it was so soft and tender.
Carlos had no other idea but, to tell the truth. "Yes, right. You must also be one of Miss Cassandra's clients."
"Me? Cassandra's client? Never!" said Nagita with bulging eyes.
"Cassandra! Don't expect to see my dad tonight! I'll make you unable to come to the club. I don't want to see you, you cheap woman!" Nagita hates Cassandra so she does screaming even in a public place; not intending to approach Cassandra who has already entering Santiago's car.
Nagita's only reason why she went there was to stop Cassandra from going to the party tonight.
"You are Uncle Jake's killer! That's why my father forbade you to come to the party!"
Cassandra's back shook. Nagita often insults her but if it's related to Mr. Jake's death, she won't let Nagita's indecency.
Cassandra re-closed the car door. With graceful steps, she walked towards Nagita.
"I told you, I was not the cause of Mr. Jake's death. The cause of his death was a heart attack. His heart is weak back then."
