He wrapped his arms around me again and leaned over, kissing my forehead as I stayed in his arms in silence until I looked up at him leaning in to kiss him. He kissed me back as he leaned me moreover as he had his hands cupping my face while I clutched his shirt and I can hear myself apologizing about the way I’ve been acting, the harsh words, while he continued to kiss my lips, trying to shut me up. For a second, it felt like everything that happened, the hard words we said, went away and we were just comforting each other wanting to get closer like this instead of fighting.
I suddenly pulled away to grab my phone, hearing it rings, but Elliot didn’t stop as he hugged me while his hands were tickling my sides. I laughed, pulling away from him so I could sit up and glanced at my phone, seeing my mom’s name. I moved to sit on the other side of the bed, facing him, and he smiled as I answered the call.
“Hey, mom,” I said.
