After their deep conversation, Lizzy resumed watching her favorite drama on TV while Allynna played with her phone.
But a few moments later, after some silence in the room. Lizzy remembers something her mother has asked her about Ally.
"Ally, where would you live in the capital if you left early? Are you going to live in a dorm? "Lizzy asks her.
Allynna was surprised to hear Lizzy ask this. She hadn't told her that she would be living with someone she didn't know, a mysterious and handsome man. The funny thing is that the man was the man who proposed to her. Her future husband.
She was unsure whether to tell Lizzy about this, fearing she would spread the news. And she would have a hard time explaining that to anyone else. What a hassle!
'No! I better hide from her for the time being.' Allynna thought. She didn't want her arranged marriage with Leon to be exposed to others.
"Ally, are you alright? Why do you often look blank these days when asked?" Lizzy narrowed her eyes, looking at her.
Allynna snapped out when she heard Lizzy calling her name. She turns her gaze at her.
"Well, I'm going to stay at my mother's relative's house..." Allynna said confidently. This was the only excuse she could find at the moment. Besides, she will not be wrong because Leon can be said to be a relative.
When Allynna saw her best friend, she seemed to believe her words; she laughed inwardly while maintaining her calm expression.
"Ah... I see." Lizzy said. "No wonder you want to fly there early. Well, Ally, I agree if you go there early because there's no one here to accompany you."
"I know."
"You know what, Ally? I'm so happy for you because you finally found your relative and will stay with them. You won't be lonely anymore..." Lizzy felt so much relieved when she found out that Allynna had relatives. She always thought Ally was left all alone in the world when her parents died. It turns out she is not alone in this world.
"Yes, I know. I'm glad as well." Allynna said, even though inside, she felt terrible about lying to Lizzy. She hoped that if Lizzy found out about this lie, she wouldn't be angry with her.
...
After they discussed Allynna's plans to move to the capital, Lizzy said goodbye to go home. She walked Lizzy to the gate and waited until Lizzy arrived at her house.
When she was about to lock the gate, a black car suddenly stopped in front of her house. She stopped locking the gate and looked warily at the vehicle.
'Who's visiting this late? Is this person lost?' She wondered while waiting. Her eyes were glued to the car, but she couldn't see through the window because the car window was so dark.
She starts to feel worried because she never received guests besides Lizzy's family after her parents died. The car door opened just before she wanted to close the gate.
Allynna's eyes widened when she saw Leon leave the car and stand before her in his casual black outfit, complete with a long black coat hanging down to his knee. Even though his dark blonde hair looks messy, it doesn't reduce his divine-looking face.
His golden eyes stared at her sincerely, making Allynna couldn't move. She even forgot to blink. He utterly bewitched her.
Her heart starts to beat faster; her voice betrays her, and she can't say a single word. She could only stare at his shining golden eyes.
"Hello, Miss Allynna…" Sir Leon's charming voice seemed to melt Allynna's frozen body slowly.
"S-Sir Leon… why, why, did you come to my house this late?" Haltingly, she finally finished saying what was on her mind.
"Can I come inside?" He politely asked her and ignored her question.
Allynna stepped aside to permit him. After that, she closed the gate. But, when she saw the luxury car slowly move away from her house, enough to make her even more nervous. She tried to remain calm.
'Why did the car leave? Will he stay at my house?' She wonders.
By the time she turned around, Sir Leon's body was right behind her, so close she nearly hit her head into his firm chest. Luckily, she stopped moving just before her head touched his chest. She blushed.
"S-Sorry…" Allynna said with her head lowered, not daring to look at his face. In a hurry, he stepped back and walked to the other side, avoiding Leon. She walks like she is running towards her house, ignoring him. She could clearly hear him chuckling while following her.
"Sir Leon, please wait here…" Allynna asked Leon to stop near the foyer when she realized the living room was still messy.
She turned off the TV, took the dirty plates and glasses in the sink, returned to the living room, and straightened the messy cushions. She does that in just a few minutes.
After making sure the living room area is neat. She looked back to call Leon. But to her surprise, Leon is already standing near the living room. His eyes were sharp on her, making Allynna speechless because what she had just done was visible to him.
'Gosh!' She silently took a deep sigh.
"Sir Leon, you may come in..." She was embarrassed while scolding Leon in her heart for visiting her house so late and unannounced.
"Is there something you want to talk about? Why did you come this early!?" Allynna asked again when she saw Leon sitting on the single sofa.
When Leon opened his mouth, Allynna suddenly remembered something. She immediately stood up from her seat.
"Sorry, Sir Leon, I forgot… What do you want to drink?" She asked politely. And she scolded herself for forgetting one thing her mother used to tell her was to offer drinks to guests who came to the house.
How could she forget about that?
"Anything..." A faint smile appears in Leon's eyes.
