The recess bell finally rang after a long hour of math class. Then as it should be, Tasia and her friends went to the canteen for lunch.
Nobody objected to Hadyan's presence who seemed to want to join their group. Even though he was still a little awkward, but because of Hadyan's friendly nature, he was easily blended into the group of the chaotic kids.
Hadyan always looked for opportunities to sit in front of Tasia. That thing.. it was only Tasia who felt it and made herself very uncomfortable, but she didn't have the heart to express it for fear of being mistaken for being overconfident herself. She also tried to convince herself that it was just a coincidence.
"I heard, you also live in The Sari Garden Resident, aren't you?" Asked Mark, replied by Hadyan with a nod.
"Our house is also in that area. What a coincidence. We can play together later," Said Marya, smiling happily.
"Really? No wonder, at that time I had met Tasia in the complex before I entered this school. At that time she helped me when I fell off the motorbike." He laughed, "Do you remember, Tasia?" he asked, glancing at the girl with thick eyelashes.
But the smile on his sweet face disappeared when he realized Tasia wasn't participating in their conversation. Even, Tasia didn't notice Hadyan's question who was sitting opposite her.
It was as if a fire had burned Hadyan's head and chest when he saw Tasia busy joking with Patra. Again, they played feed while laughing.
At that time, Tata saw something odd on Hadyan's face, which looked furious. This made her feel even more convinced that the new guy liked her desk mate.
"Tasia! Hadyan was asking something to you. Why do you only play around?" Tata reprimanded in a joking tone.
Tasia was shocked and immediately smiled stiffly at Hadyan, "Eum.. Sorry, Hadyan. What was it again?"
Suddenly, the atmosphere became quiet. Everyone was surprised at Hadyan's reaction, who put on a super angry face at the innocent girl.
Okay. Maybe Tasia had a point, thought Tata.
She didn't expect that Hadyan, who usually had a very friendly face, could put on a face like he wanted to kill someone like that. Could it be that the guy was actually a psychopath? That was of course very dangerous.
"Wow.. wow.. why is your face like that, man? Tasia didn't mean to not hear you." Patra reprimanded.
"You really like playing with him, don't you?" Hadyan was ignoring Patra at all. He glared at Tasia.
"If so, why? Is there a problem?" Tasia replied offended. She realized that Hadyan's attitude was very inappropriate this time and she was also sure that this time all of her friends would realize it.
She began to realize that the strange thing she felt about Hadyan was not an ordinary oddity. Now, she felt that Hadyan had crossed his limit and had really disturbed the comfort of her life.
Patra raised an eyebrow while waiting for the answer that would come out of Hadyan's lips.
Slowly, Hadyan's face got softened. He knew, with the way he usually used as a prince, he would get nothing but the wrath of these humans. Moreover, he was on a mission to win Tasia's heart. There was no way he was willing to make Tasia hate him just for the sake of his ego and jealousy.
Hadyan smiled faintly with a sad face, "I'm sorry if I overreacted. I thought that you hated me so much that you didn't want to answer my questions."
'Ah? So it's all my fault?' Tasia thought in her mind.
Tasia frowned even though she still wore a forced smile, "Oh... Yes, it's okay, Hadyan. I'm also sorry for having so many prejudices against you. Sorry for making you think that I hated you."
After a few seconds of silence, a bunch of laughter broke out from the mouths of her friends.
"So, this is what you often talked about, Tata?" Jordi asked, between his laughs. Tata nodded quickly over and over again while laughing.
Hadyan put on a confused face, not understanding what was funny about the incident. Meanwhile, Tasia, who realized what her friends meant was, could only look down in shame.
Suddenly, Marya put her arm around Hadyan's neck, "She really is that type of girl. All the people in this group are really weird, so don't give up on being friends with us, okay?"
"Well! That's right! Especially that Tasia one. She is a girl who likes to be paranoid for no reason. And even more so, Marya is a freak girl!" Mark continued, laughing. Inviting Marya to let go of her arm from Hadyan, and turn to smack Mark's head.
"Please enough, guys. The bell will come in soon. Let's finish the food." Tasia cut as an excuse to end the taunts that were ganging up on her.

'The look in his eyes gave me goosebumps. Every time he looked at me, even when he did that from behind, I still could feel it. The longer it went on, the more uncomfortable I became. I felt disturbed. Shouldn't we be honest and say what makes us feel uncomfortable?' -Tasia
"Hadyan. I feel you are always watching me. Could you please stop? It gives me goosebumps."
"What? Hahahahahaha! You are too get over yourself! Why would I pay attention to you?!"
'Ugh!! Just imagining it made me so embarrassed. What if it really happened? Where would I put my face in?!' Tasia thought.
"Tasia!" Marya snapped, making her best friend flinch.
"Huh?"
"You didn't hear me did you?" Marya asked annoyed that she stopped walking.
"Eh? I.. I did. But I was just didn't have the mood to answer it because my throat hurts a bit." She lied. But the truth was she had been daydreaming about Hadyan.
"Oh... I thought you weren't listening to my confide." She continued her steps. "So, do you like Hadyan or not?" She continued while kicking the pebbles that were scattered along the road to Patra's house with her red shoes.
"Huh?! Of course not!" Tasia answered quickly with full confidence. Marya laughed out loud in response to Tasia's expression, which was as if hearing a meteor falling in the middle of the city.
"Okay.. okay.. just take it easy on the answer. Hahaha!" Marya said.
Tasia only could stare at her in confusion, but couldn't help but laugh. Actually, she didn't understand what Marya meant by suddenly asking that silly question. But she knew, whatever the question was, it had to do with Marya's story, which she hadn't heard before because she was too busy with her mind. So, rather than facing the anger of her best friend, it's better for her to remain silent and keep laughing with her.
