Gerald watched the coachman walking towards the Longhurst mansion, and a smile of victory crept on his face. He jumped down the tree and rode on his horse again. He let Filch out of his jacket to which the niffler was not particularly happy.
"Sorry pal but I don't know yet if Lady is fond of a niffler or not."
Smiling at Filch, who glared at Gerald for betraying it like that, Gerald pulled the reigns of the horse and the beast began walking at a normal speed. The tapping of his hooves caught the attention of the women.
Bertha's face brightened up as she saw a horse coming in their way.
"My Lady, I think we can have a help."
But Theodora's mind was elsewhere. She was busy observing her surroundings- the tall trees, short bushes, the trail of ants and the occasional chirping of various birds. The wind that blew past her brought a smile to her face, and she wondered how beautiful this world is!
