Oscar couldn't find any peace, nor the sleep wanted to befriend him. So he decided to distract himself with some work. Maybe he should cut the wood.

Checking up once on the sleeping Isabella, he covered her with a blanket before he hopped on his healthy foot. With much effort, he managed to come out of the cottage and dragged himself to sit in the grass that had grown around the cottage.
He found a set of knives that Isabella was telling Gerald to sharpen for about a week now. But the man was so ignorant that he forgot it every time.
Oscar decided to do it on his own before Gerald gets scolded by Isabella. He was busy sharpening those knives while he covered his injured leg with a cloth he had carried with him.
