Her door opened a few minutes later. Four attendants, along with Ms. Dagondon, came in bringing a new gown and some fresh linens. The secretary looked small compared to the attendants. She looked like a little schoolgirl, towered over by a husky pair of men and women. They approached her together, like bodyguards huddling on a VIP towards a safe exit.
Anna watched them closely, loathing at every single one of the attendants that was trying to cover her friend from her. Her mind was chaotic, filled with memories that she strongly thought was true, but was now put into question. She wanted to speak with Ms. Dagondon, trying to clear some confusion for her.
