Anna sat on the bed, hoisted comfortably with pillows on her back. Ms. Dagondon did the trouble of helping her back to bed and putting some pillows behind her back before calling back Officer Del Carmen.
The policewoman went inside the room eager to know what she was about to tell her. She stood up at the foot of Anna's bed and dragged a chair for her to sit on. She sat on the chair holding her notepad and pen.
"Ms. Dagondon told me you recalled something last night?" She went straight to the point.
"Y-yes, I do." Anna's voice was still hoarse.
"Go on." The officer was eager to write it down.
"Last night I recall being attacked by a man." Anna began. "He bit my fingers and tore it off my hand. She showed her completely undamaged hand. However, when I woke up this morning, I found them all intact. I swear I am not going crazy; I knew this thing happened." She explained.
