Chapter 20 - Fall asleep

She chuckled looking at him. His eyes were darting here and there while he spoke. He was feeling embarrassed getting caught in this situation.

Aragon was practicing the sword skill of slaughter. That skill makes one who trains with it will have their anger and lust increased by bounds. It was like adding oil to the fire. If one didn't attain a certain level of achievement in this skill, then it will be harder for them to keep their emotion in check. Freja knew this, but she didn't mention the side of effects of practicing the one of most destructing sword technique.

Aragon didn't know this and Freja didn't tell him about this effect. As he trained in that method for almost four years, the effects were pouring out as he saw a woman now.

In his mind, he was fighting with himself from jumping onto the bed. He clenched his fists and bit his lips, bending his head down.

Katheryn frowned. She noticed that they were something wrong with Aragon. She looked at his hands which started dripping blood.

Then Aragon's eyes were blinking, his vision slowly blurred and went black. He fell down losing consciousness.

His body emitted a strange aura of red color. It was very faint and if one didn't look closely, one wouldn't be able to see.

Katheryn could see the aura clearly. Her frown deepened. She went near to him to inspect him.

The aura cooled down and Aragon was lying on the floor with his eyes closed. His both hands were dyed red with blood.

Katheryn got up from the bed, removed the blanket, and wore her a long boudoir. It was transparent and her inner could be seen in the light.

She brought a cloth piece and tied it to Aragon's hands. Then she brought him to the bed and placed him.

"What was that light? Is it magic? It must be related to magic." She thought.

She then slept beside him, she pulled the blanket covering both of them. She stared at him, then she removed the hair blocking his face. She continued to stare and later she sighed and fell asleep.

Next morning,

Aragon woke up. He was covered with the blanket that Katheryn put on. He looked another side of the bed, but no one was there. Then he looked around the room.

It was the attic. 'Why am I sleeping here? Wait! What happened last night? Where is that man from yesterday?

While he was thinking, Katheryn came up with a plate of wooden glass and a bowl.

"You sure took your time to rest. Is your aunt's bed that comfortable?" She said in a playful tone.

Aragon looked down and clasped the blanket with both hands.

"Did I do anything wrong yesterday?" He said in a low voice.

He didn't know why but he was feeling that it was a mistake to come up last night. He shouldn't have seen her like that.

"What wrong you did?" She placed her finger on her chin and pondered.

"I…" He was about to speak when she interrupted him.

"You did nothing wrong. It's not wrong or anything."

"Enough about that. I have to go to the tribe meeting hall. Do you want to come with me?"

Aragon lifted his head and saw her. She was still in that night dress. He averted his gaze to the plate and she placed it in front of him.

While he was eating, she went to the wooden wardrobe.

She removed her dress and started wearing a long gown.

"Do you want to come with me?

Aragon stayed on the bed and continued eating. He didn't look at the other side.

"What's happening there?" He asked her.

"I think war is going to happen."
