That night.
Most of the Adventurers were sleeping, the rest of them awake for guard duty. Yuu, having no tent of her own, slept with Macky in her tent.
Macky was fast asleep while Yuu stared at the ceiling of the tent. She had a blanket over her as she stared, her black eyes staring into the darkness.
She turned her head to look at Macky before she shifted herself closer. Yuu slung an arm over Macky, but before she made contact with her, she pulled her arm back.
Macky shifted in her sleep, no doubt still agitated by her missing left arm. Yuu stared at Macky, her wide eyes staring directly at her sleeping face.
Macky muttered to herself in her sleep. She rolled over in Yuu's direction, getting her closer to Yuu. Yuu remained motionless for a few seconds before wrapping her arms around Macky, finding it much more comfortable to be hugging something.
Yuu's eyes started to close.
