Letha continued flipping through the menu. Lied had just paid to buy the menu, something which he had never thought was possible.
He stopped to think.
Letha was presumably older than him, so why did he feel like he was being an older sibling?
"Where are you from?" Lied asked Letha, the both of them waiting for the food to arrive.
"Hmmm?" Letha looked away from her menu.
"Where's your home?" Lied simplified the question.
Letha stared at the ceiling before shrugging. "Dunno."
Lied felt like he was getting nowhere.
"Do you remember anything from your home then? Like, what did it look like?" Lied asked again.
"Home…" Letha mused.
She seemed to finally get an idea, like it clicked in her mind. Her expression brightened as she said, "There was a lot of orange! Really bright and really warm!"
That face Lied absolutely no clues on the matter. He had not gone to a city which was orange, and the other descriptive features made no sense.
"Okay…?"
