Lied, Desmond and Letha were all in a carriage. Lied tried to stay focused, but the green ball kept entering his view, distracting him.
Letha stared out the window with awe as they passed by some scenery.
Desmond simply crossed his arms and looked ahead stoically.
"Hey, what are you planning to do after we get back?" Lied asked Desmond, just wanting to start some sort of conversation.
"I'll probably go back to my family," Desmond replied. "After what happened, I think it is best for me to spend time with my family while I recover."
Lied nodded. "Taking a break from the whole Adventuring thing, huh?"
"What about you?" Desmond asked. "What do you plan to do when you return to the Capital?"
Lied glanced over at Letha, who was seated beside him. She pressed the side of her face against the window as she tried to look out.
"Help her," Lied replied, not really sure what else to say. "I want to help her find her home and family."
