After making and eating breakfast, we headed to school. I separated from three o'clock to go to my classroom.
I definitely can't let Arihiko know that I have a lunch box prepared by Kohaku-san with me. He seemed quite whiny yesterday that I was having lunch with Akiha and the other two girls.
Ciel might bother me with that too, plus I'm owing that troublesome woman a favor. It would be better if I pretend to go unnoticed as much as she can, it would be very embarrassing if she bothers me with that.
I didn't think that a single day without Aoko-san in the city would cause me so much trouble everywhere. It is truly a joy that I have been able to put up with so much so far. Oh, and about Touko-san, once again I left her lunch served. Also, it's my responsibility to go to the store today, so that I can restock the fridge, I'll tell Touko-san later that I took money from her wallet, I think she won't mind at all.
Securing my backpack close to me, I open the sliding door to enter my living room.
Thinking that everything was going to be okay... was my mistake.
─Tohno-kun, why didn't you tell us that you had a younger sister?! That's being a bad friend!
─Hey, Tohno-san I have my complaints too! How dare you have lunch with a beautiful outgoing girl like Kohaku-chan?! Who do you think you are, a sultan?!
─To the devil Kohaku-chan, more importantly, what the hell?! Why are you so close to Hisui-chan instead?!
─Two poles apart, wow.
─Tohno, you better give us an explanation about this! Also, how is Ciel-senpai treating you so well?! She hardly speaks to me!
─It's not just Ciel-senpai, I've heard that Tohno started putting together a harem even with his legal guardians!
─Unforgivable!
─He must be put to death!
...
As soon as I opened the door, all my (male) classmates surrounded me for questioning.
Lifting me out of my own free will, they lead me to my seat like nothing else, where they make a circle of complaints around me.
Screams go back and forth, but essentially, there is only one person to blame for all of this.
─Arihiko! ─. I raise my voice as high as I can from the crowd, calling out the idiot among the idiots.
The king of Rome makes the entrance of him then.
With a smile on his face, he says with a sure look of victory:
─Ha ha! You've been caught by us, Toh-... gah! ─. Stars seem to fly around Arihiko when I elbow him in the stomach with all my might.
That's when the redhead bends over like a ">" and he squeezes the spot where I hit him with his hands.
My revenge has been carried out.
─I didn't hide anything from anyone, I just never said anything so they wouldn't bother me. Besides, they are all my family, it's not like it's that important either. ─. I answer to calm the people around me.
I started calling them "my family" this morning. They all showed great performance in household activities and decided to help me without any hesitation. Besides the fact that Kohaku-san's food is impressive, maybe I shouldn't worry anymore about having to cook twice because of Aoko-san.
Perhaps my father's decision to have me live with my younger sister and the twin maids was for the best. I just wonder what kind of reaction Aoko-san will have when he sees so many people at home.
She might think we were in an invasion or something, just as she's preparing some spell that could wipe out the neighborhood with one hit.
...
I'm kidding, but it may be a possibility.
─Why did you do that, Tohno?! ─. Arihiko yells at me as he continues to recover from my elbow.
He has it well deserved.
─For spreading bad things about me, that's not something good friends do.
─Good friends don't hit their friends!
─That is not a blow, it is education.
─What are you?! A dictator?!
─It could be.
It's kind of stupid talk, but at least with that, I made sure that everyone who surrounded me at first finally left.
It was then that our classmate, Satsuki Yumizuka-san, approached us.
─Tohno-kun, you shouldn't be so cruel to Inui-kun. He was just complaining out loud about the events of yesterday and it was pure chance that they heard him.
─Oh, Sacchin, you come to my aid! I am so thankful with-! Why?! ─. Arihiko seemed to radiate happiness until I hit her on the head.
Come on, can't you be more of an idiot?
Are you the idiot among idiots?
Of course you are, Arihiko.
─I got out of hand.
─That's not just a "it left me"! You were going with the intention of giving me a stroke there!
─I didn't even try my best.
Our conversation is of little use, but Yumizuka-san joining in the chat makes it seem less pitiful.
─Poor Inui-kun, getting hurt by Tohno-kun. Okay, okay. Nothing is going to happen to you... I think.
─Sacchin, don't play with my feelings!
─Hey. You already know how I am. Oh, true. Good morning, Tohno-kun.
─Ah, yes. Good morning to you too, Yumizuka-san.
This is a strange combination, but somehow the three of us are compatible. We started getting together last quarter. Although there is not much change between my popularity then or now, somehow, thanks to Arihiko, it was that we became friends with the class idol, Satsuki Yumizuka.
She is usually surrounded by many people. She is basically the topic of conversation for all the guys in the class and it's not like there are bad rumors about her from the girls' side either. The truth, just because of Arihiko is that someone from few friends like me can speak to her in such a familiar way.
Well, I guess at some point I got used to having her around her. That's why I no longer care if she is around us.
─Yumizuka-san, I want to ask you something.
─What thing, Tohno-kun?
I stiffen my expression to make myself look serious. Although I don't know why I thought I saw a twinkle in Yumizuka-san's eyes when I brought it up, but I ignore it anyway.
I take Arihiko by the shoulder and say:
─I will ask you to stop being so good to this idiot, he could fall in love with you if you are so kind.
Hey, Tohno!
─Thank you for your concern, Tohno-kun. But I will always reject Inui-kun, so you shouldn't bother to warn me.
Oh.
Arihiko... that was a low blow.
Are you so little?
─Tohno, whatever you're thinking, put it down.
...
I apologize for my stupid thoughts.
Of course, Arihiko couldn't fall in love with Yumizuka-san (I think), but I still know a bit about it. It can be very annoying when he falls in love with someone, seriously.
I remember in high school he asked me for help with a very elaborate plan to come out to the girl he liked back then, but it resulted in an inevitable rejection. I had to ask him to dinner that time because of the embarrassment he caused me. Even Aoko-san who is normally not very good at that kind of subject, she felt compelled to give him words of encouragement.
That's how pitiful my friend looked, seriously.
Oh well.
I'm used to this normal level of nonsense in between. I guess none of that is completely wrong.
