"Alex, how are you doing?" The woman asked as she bum-rushed him and began to check every nook and cranny of Alex's body. Alex quickly searched through his memories for the name of this person. Alex followed his gut feeling that this person may be Alexander's mother so he looked through some of the earliest memories and found out this woman's name was Laura Ruin.
"I'm fine, mother. It wasn't all that bad as you can see I'm healthier than ever." Alex responded while flexing both his arms with a smile. Alex thought he was in the clear, but he was entirely wrong because his mother's aura changed dramatically.
"Who told you to go out unattended? Better yet who failed at their job of being with you at all times." Laura shouted as her powerful aura began to rise and suffocate everyone in the room.
"Holy crap! Mother's strength is unbelievable." Alex thought to himself as he felt that it was getting harder to breathe.
"My lady, please calm down. Your son is still injured and he cannot withstand your aura. I will severely punish the person responsible for this mistake." Sandra responded as she got down to one knee. Laura withdrew her aura after listening to her maid, but she was still furious yet she could not hinder her son's health.
"How dare that insolent little bug hurt my precious child," Laura stated as she directed her anger at Ron. "If my husband doesn't do anything, then I will take it upon myself to deliver hell." She added. Laura stayed with Alex until she deemed him safe from any more injuries. Sandra, on the other hand, began her investigation on the servants that were supposed to have been with Alex. Alex began his investigation on the body differences between regular and special veined people. So far he's come up with the conclusion that everyone has a twenty-five percent chance of being born with it and if the genetics of the parents are strong then the percentage will go up. But if a person with special veins has a child with a person who doesn't then the percentage will decrease. Alex's condition is more of a 1/10 chance and he caught the short straw. There is also another thing, even when someone has these special veins if they do not have a teacher to help them cultivate them. Then they will never be able to reach the third stage of the Body's strengthening realm.
"Well, at least I was lucky enough to be reborn in a wealthy family. I don't know what I would've done if I was in the slums. The only bad thing is I don't have these special veins, so the best I can do in this life is live underneath whoever becomes the next ruler from my siblings." Alex sighed as he laid back down in his bed. The Royal family was notified that Alex had recovered and everyone would meet for dinner in three hours. As Alex laid down he decided to meditate to calm himself down and assimilate this whole situation. When Alex was in the middle of meditating, the silver book from before began to radiate within his mind.
"I almost forgot about this book! Now that I have a functioning body, maybe I can use these techniques to make up for my lack of special veins!" Alex thought while suppressing the urge to jump up and down. The techniques he began to cultivate were the Ki sense, absorption, and control. Alex sat in the lotus position while he breathed in and out to free up his body's cells. With all that time he spent training in that dark space, sensing Ki only took him an hour but absorbing the Ki was quite difficult. Due to him not being used to the technique, but with his mind being trained pretty well it took him two hours to slowly absorb a small amount of Ki in the environment. Controlling the Ki was another story, even though he could absorb and sense it without much difficulty. The amount of Ki he could absorb was not much so Alex didn't consider being able to use any of the advanced techniques that had within the book.
"This is amazing. I would've never dreamed of being able to use these techniques in my life. If I continue with them then I won't need to worry about my future anymore." Alex said to himself. He was going to continue to train but was interrupted by the brunette-haired maid named Lexy.
"Fourth Prince, the royal family has gathered and is waiting for you now," Lexy stated.
"Thank you for letting me know, Lexy," Alex replied and dismissed her so he could get dressed. After putting on some formal clothing, he stood in front of the mirror in his room.
"I never had a real chance to look at myself in this world. Now that I have a chance, Alexander was one handsome guy." Alex said as he posed in front of the mirror for a bit.
"Fourth Prince, are you ready?" Lexy asked scaring him in the process. Alex was grabbing his chest while trying to calm down his breathing.
"Jeez, Lexy, you could've given me a heart attack. I didn't even hear you arrive." Alex replied She just gave him a blank look and walked out towards the dining room. Alex quickly followed suit, the duo made their way to the room. As Alex entered the room, everyone had their eyes on him and Alex began to survey everyone else also. All of his siblings were sitting on the sides of the table. On the left side sat his eldest brother Logan(20), he had tanned skin color and short wavey blonde hair, and sea blue eyes. He had a muscular figure but not to the point of being a bodybuilder. Next to him sat the 2nd prince Seth(18), he had short spikey amber red hair with dark green eyes and pale white skin. He was leaner than Logan, but he gave off more of a scholar aura. The last person on the left side sat Dustin(10). He had amber red hair with dark green eyes and tanned skin. He was more on the skinner side but had an elegant aura. On the right side sat Sarah(19) the second eldest, she looked similar to Logan except for more feminine looks that could turn everyone's heads. Next to her sat Samantha(10) who was twin of Dustin, but she was more on the petite side. Alex bowed towards his father the King, his name was Rogan and he was the 17th King of Glazric. He had short spikey brown hair with hazel brown eyes. His build was muscular and he gave off an imitating aura. He had a western look similar to the Kings before him. The King nodded his head at Alex,
"I'm glad that you have recovered, son." The King said to Alex. Alex then went to bow to his mothers. The first wife's name is Alexis, she had long blonde hair with sea-blue eyes. She too had snow-pale skin with an hourglass figure. Logan and Sarah were the children of Alexis and the King. The second wife's name is Arianna and she had amber red hair with dark green eyes. She had a darker skin color than Alexis but Arianna's figure was a bit more filled out than Alexis'. Arianna is the mother of Seth, Dustin, and Samantha. The last wife is Laura the mother of Alex.
"Alexander, you should be more careful especially since you do not have the power to defend yourself," Alexis stated with a sly smile which Laura noticed.
"Eldest sister is right, If one does not have the power to defend themself then they should know how to assert themself," Arianna added which made Laura even angrier, but she had to hold it in due to not having much power over the two due to her being the third wife.
" My third sister, you should get a better hold on your guards. If it was me, my children would have never been in that kind of danger. Then again my children would be able to defend themselves anyway, so they wouldn't need a guard." Alexis said to Laura which made Laura even more infuriated.
"Enough, Alexis!" The King said with a deep voice embedded with Qi which made everyone in the room feel suffocated.
"Shit! I knew that my mother's aura could make me feel like I was getting crushed by two walls, but my father's aura just now made me feel like I was getting crushed by a mountain. I'm even sure that was just five percent of his power." Alex thought to himself.
"Brother, come sit next to me," Samantha said to Alex while motioning to the empty seat beside her. Alex nodded to her while smiling and made his way to the seat. Once he sat down the door opened and multiple servants made their way into the room. They began to serve a different variety of dishes and set up the table. Alex has never really seen this much food just for a family, but then again wasn't surprised because he was now royalty. While the family ate their food they talked about what the children have done today, what they should study for in the future, and what rankings did Logan, Seth, and Sarah got in the recent grading at their academy. From everything that Alex has heard from his siblings, it seems that the education here is a little behind Earth and that it would be easy to fit in or maybe even show off just a little bit. The only thing is that even if someone is smart if they cannot protect themselves or have powerful connections that could protect them. Cause in this world Power is more useful than Knowledge.
"Alex, your birthday has just passed so you will now be enrolled in the same academy as your elder siblings. You will go there in two weeks and join the new students as well. Also don't think just because you are my son that you will get special privileges." The King stated to Alex then he turned towards the two eldest siblings,
"You don't need to help out your younger brother at your own will, but if anyone disrespects our name then if you do not punish said person. Then I will punish you, severely." The King stated while giving off an imposing aura to which Logan and Sarah nodded to their father.
"Looks like I need to put in a lot of training in these two weeks so that I won't be bullied, but I can't show them too early so I will have to endure for a bit." Alex thought to himself. After eating, Alex left the dining room and went back to his room to train some more. A week went by and Alex came out of his room to get something to eat,
"Fourth Prince, how are your studies going?" Sandra asked Alex.
"It is going quite well, Sandra," Alex responded. His father told him to study diligently so that he could get into the Scholar class and that way he can become part of the Royal Court. Alex didn't need to study much except for the history of the country and he used the rest of the time to control the Ki within his body that he absorbed. So far Alex has been able to control about 5% of his Ki and is able to absorb 15% faster than when he started. He now had about 250 points of Ki that he could store within his body. He also used his Ki to temper his body by slowly destroying his muscles and repairing them while infusing Ki into them. Alex decided to relax for a bit before trying to control more of his Ki, so he left for the markets in the town.
"Fourth Prince, are you planning to go out this evening?" Sebastian the Butler asked. He stood at 6'2" with shiny white hair and a mustache with a clean white butler outfit. He was of western descent and he was also the King's old teammate from when the King went on adventures. That is how he became Head butler in the castle and is very respected throughout the whole castle. After talking with Sebastian, Alex made his way to his mother's room to notify her of his trip because of the last incident. He knocked on the door three times,
"Come in." A soothing voice answered. Alex made his way into the room and saw that his mother was currently sitting at a desk writing something down in a big book.
"Mother, I want to go out to the market today if you are alright with it," Alex stated while he bowed just a little bit. Laura stared at him for a minute,
"You can go, but I will have someone accompany you." She stated as she turned around and sent some Qi into a device behind her. The device lit up green for a moment then a voice replied from the device,
"Did you call, your highness?" a male voice asked.
"Christopher, I need you to accompany my child while he goes out to the market today," Laura responded.
"It would be my pleasure, your highness," Christopher replied and Laura deactivated the device. The duo waited for Christopher to arrive at the room and they didn't have to wait long for him. Christopher knocked on the door and Laura told him to come in. Christopher had long blonde hair and his facial features looked exactly like Chris Hemsworth.
"All he needs is a red cape and a giant hammer," Alex murmured under his breath.
"Did you say something, son?" Laura asked while Christopher just smiled. Alex forgot for a moment that with higher cultivation all of the five senses are heightened.
"Christopher, I need you to accompany Alex for the day so that another incident doesn't happen. Out of everyone within this palace, you are one of my most trusted personal guards. Unlike those other people, I wasn't with the King at the beginning but I was out venturing out with my party. I'm glad that he allowed me to bring you in with me." Laura stated. Christopher bowed to her so that he could show her respect,
"I am grateful for you saving me that fateful day, and keeping me safe. My life is already yours so this is just another task for me to fulfill so that I can appease you. Plus I remember when this little one was born, he wouldn't leave me alone for the longest." Christopher responded while smiling. When Alex heard that last part he blushed from embarrassment and the duo laughed at Alex's reaction.
"Take your time and don't forget to relax a bit, Alex. I've noticed that you have been practicing diligently so you have earned it," Laura said before hugging him.
"Don't worry about him, I'll do my best to keep him safe even if I have to use up my life," Christopher stated as he hit his chest with his right fist. Alex and Christopher made their way out of the palace and headed to the royal stable to get two horses. Alex chooses the main horse that he always had ridden. Its mane was an amber-red color and its color was silver. Alex named the horse Silverbolt and Christopher's horse was one of the regular horses that were kept in the stable. The duo made their way to the market and on the journey, Alex wanted to ask Christopher more about Laura's adventures. Christopher noticed Alex's motives and began to recite his adventures and took notice of how much Alex was paying attention. Before they knew it the market's entrance already appeared in front of them. Christopher helped Alex down from the horse and then led the horse to be stationed so they could go to the market.
