Justin pulled out his hands to shake them but received a warm hug from them instead. My friends were so friendly that they behave as if they know you even if they've known you for only a day or two. They spoke with him for long to require more about him, his interest, favourite food, games and a whole lot of personal stuffs. They left me sitting down idle so I protested,"He is my bestie, not anyone's. So if you agree, I want to talk to him while you both do your pillow talk on the sand. Okay." I then dragged him away. We walked on the shore and the breeze was just wonderful. After some few minutes of silence,he broke the silence saying,"Have you ever imagined the both of us having a life together." Wow, I love the questions that are coming up. "Yeah, sometimes, I do think about it, but don't worry, every kind of person does that," I answered shivering. Finally, today he will ask me the question, I've been yearning for. He opened his mouth to speak but that same girl who have been in interfering in our talks each time, walked in. Suddenly, I heard someone call me aloud from behind and when I stopped, I saw a huge rough curved stone in front of me, had the person not call me, I would have hit my body of that stone and I bet you my body would have gotten the wounds of a lifetime. "What is wrong with you Valerie? You've lost concentration of yourself and you would have hurt yourself," a voice said behind me. I turned my head only to find Justin running towards me. A beam of smile came on my face, but when I remembered that which happened, I returned my normal face back. "I'm fine dear," I replied shabbily. He looked straight up into my eyes and said,"Don't be jealous Valerie, you know you're my…to tell you the fact, I like you Valerie…I mean, I love you and I want you to be my girlfriend. Since the time you came into my life, my life wasn't the same anymore. My life was filled with joy and I see myself smiling each and every moment of my life Valerie. I love you so much." Words could not explain how happy I was that very moment. Finally, he said it, and usually, as a lady, a proud one for that matter, I had to showcase my pride. Though I wanted to say yes…I wanted to say it later. Before I was able to utter a word, he cut in,"Take all the time that you want in this world to think about it, Valerie." He walked towards me, held my hand and kissed me on my cheek, moved to my forehead and settled on my lips. I could feel my heart beating very fast, against my ribs, he then dragged me into his arms and hugged me as if I'll disappear if he doesn't hold onto me tight. My phone rang, when I answered, I didn't even talk before Bryant told me that they were taking the lead so I should come straight to the hotel. Justin carried me on his motorbike to the hotel. He was staying in another hotel, not all that far from ours. I got down, gave him a hug and went back into the hotel.
"Looks like someone is blushing," Bryant lisped and Cindy agreed, dragged me to her bed, sat me down and said,"Do you mind giving us any gist about your walk with your bestie." I took a deep breathe and narrated everything to them. "Oh my goodness girl…you now have a boyfriend?" Cindy shouted. "Keep it down Cindy, we're not in your country or your kingdom okay," I scolded. He left out a pretending cry,"Sorry sorry Valerie, I'll not do it again," she stopped abruptly, laughed and sang"So now, my friend got a boyfriend, you got a boyfriend." "Stop it Cindy, I've not accepted his proposal yet, anyway I wanna have a nap, so please I don't want any disturbances from any of you. Okay," I carped. Cindy protested, "What if Justin calls you?" I rolled my eyes and fell onto my bed. Now I can sleep in peace, knowing that I'll wake up and have Justin being mine and no one else's.
I woke up around six o'clock in the evening only to find a note on Cindy's bed which said, 'Bryant and I are going on a date and since you were fast asleep, we couldn't wake you up and tell you. We'll be back late so don't worry about us. PS: Justin called you but you were asleep, call him back, he must be worried about you.' After reading the note, I knew very well that, Cindy might be lying when she said that so I texted him.
