Gora
I woke up to the sound crunching. The sound caused me to open my eyes fast, too fast, as the morning sun burned my eyes. After my vision cleared, my eyes were greeted by the horrendous sight of the giant tiger eating some dead animal. The crunching was the beast crushing the bones in its teeth. Blood dripped from its furry chin, causing me to gag a little. I was surprised since I had seen more mutilated bodies than I could count. Yet the sight of the beast munching on its half-eaten meal caused my stomach to turn.
"You mind chewing a little quieter! Some people are trying to sleep." I yelled at the big cat. It snorted at me, spitting out a little blood and bone. ( No manners at all.) I thought. If Mog were here, the tiger would have heard an earful.
"I was hungry, Master!" The cat said sarcastically. A part of me had forgotten that I had made the tiger my Guardian. I could still fill the energy inside my core. It felt ferous yet weak, and I could feel another foreign force in my soul core as well. This one felt hopeful and strong. I decided to see how far this guardian thing worked.
"Stop eating!" I demanded. The tiger looked at me in defiance before going back to its meal. The crunching noises started annoying me again. ( Does it not work like mind control?) I thought while starring at the bloody beast. I wanted to punch the annoying creature, but my body was still too weak to move. I looked down at my right arm, wrapped in all manner of leaves and strange flowers. I guessed Frons had dressed my wounds. I was confused because she had never told me she knew anything about treating injuries.
(But it has to be Frons.) I thought, looking at the arm that was covered in dried plants. Hundreds of large green leaves covered the rest of my body. I had to see Frons and her sister using the dinner plate size leaves like blankets. I was surprisingly naked under the foliage but still warm.
"Who the hell undressed me?" I exclaimed. I wasn't directing the question at anyone in particular. I just simply blurred out the words. The tiger stopped eating for a moment but did not answer. It then finished up its meal curled up into a ball. Seconds later, the beast was fast asleep. I knew this because I could now hear it snoring. I started to yell and wake the beast from its nap when the sound of trees rustling caught my attention.
"Oh, Master? You're awake." Frons said in the devil's tongue. I was again surprised by her perfect pronunciation of the words. A few days ago, she could only communicate through telepathy. Now not only could she speak the language of the devil race, but she also knew the other eight languages. ( I wonder if the tiger could speak the languages I knew as well.) I thought as I spared a glance at the blue-furred mythical beast. It was still using the old method of speech to communicate with me. I figured it was just the beast being defiant again.
"Hello, Frons. Where is Leafy?" I asked the gorgeous half-monkey woman. She seemed to be in good spirits as she knelt beside me. I had to turn away as I found myself staring too hard at her exposed cleavage. The clothes I had given her were for a toddler, so they stretched tight around her mature body. (Calm down.) I thought as I looked at her eyes, trying my hardest to avoid her curvy body.
"Leafy has gone to soak in the river nearby before winter hits, and it freezes over." Frons said as she rubbed my head. She was most likely checking for a fever. The mention of winter confused me a bit. Last winter wasn't cold enough to freeze anything, at least not to me.
"It gets colder the closer you are to the mountain. The dead woods even get snow this time of year." Frons said with a big grin on her face. She had noticed my confusion. I couldn't tell why she was so happy. I was about to ask her it, but another question struck me.
"How did you dress my wounds?" I asked. Frons explained that I was nocked out for at least a month, which shocked the hell out of me. Although I was healing, the process was pretty slow. So Frons took it upon herself to seek out her old tribe for help. She managed to find them, but there was barely any left after the battle threw. All the stronger monkeys had been slain by me. After hearing that part of the story, I held my head down in shame. The estimated monkey population was now at a whopping 20, and most of those were mothers who had either just given birth or were still pregnant. There was also many children but only a handful of males left to protect the rest.
"I am sorry." I apologized to Frons. Her tribe may have tried to kill her, but they had still been her people at one point. Frons starred at me as her cute eyebrows raised in confusion.
"I do not feel for the dead. They chose their fate when they decided to follow Log. Most of them helped kill my father. As far as I'm concerned, they got what was coming to them." Frons said while glaring out into the distance. Her passionate look made her look even cuter in my eyes. After my apology, Frons continued with her story. The woman had walked into the monkey tribe nest and demanded help with my recovery. As expected, a few did have some objection, but Frons dealt with them swiftly. Being the only alpha left from the monkey tribe, she was their new leader by default. She had a few of them help patch me up. The gorilla tribe would often use this method to treat their own wounded.
"The plants should numb the area for the pain... Judging by your wounds, I figured you were hurting pretty bad." Frons said with a slight frown. The plants were a god sent. My right arm was so torn you could see the bone. I was honestly debating on cutting it off because it hurt so bad. I would eventually grow it back with the satanic body, but that might take years. But the pain almost drove me to amputation. That is until it stopped. Now I couldn't feel my right arm at all. That was a good thing, though. That way, I can focus on healing, so I would have to cut it off.
"Thank you, Frons. I don't know what I would do without you." I said sincerely. She was taking such good care of me. The woman smiles widely before moving some leaves around and cuddling next to me.
"Aye! That's cold! I exclaimed as Frons bare feet touched mine. Then her hand wrapped around my body, sending another shiver through me. The woman pained me no mind as she snuggled up to me.
"Do you have to do that?" I asked Frons as she buried her nose in my neck. This sent a tingly feeling down my body.
"I have to be close to you to help you heal. The woman whispered. The heat of her breath brushed up against my skin, giving me goosebumps. ( This woman has no shame.) I thought as I shook my head.
"Yes, but does it require your hands to be on my breast?" I said to the woman hugging me with one pair of arms while the other pair groped my breast. I managed to knock her hands away with my left arm.
"Yours are squishier than mine, I think," Frons said into my neck again. It was way too much stimulation for me right now.
"Why can't I get either of my guardian beasts to behave!" I said as I glared at the snoring tiger next to us. My words got the woman to pick her head up. She looked at me, then at the napping cat.
"Is Warr being a bad kitty?" Frons ask. It surprised me that she knew the beast name. It took me a minute to realize who the woman was referring to. I described my morning to the demon beast, who seemed to get angrier than me about the situation.
"How dare she wake you in such a rude way! Why didn't you punish her?" Frons asked in confusion. After seeing me as confused as she was. Frons explained to me how to discipline a guardian. It was actually a pretty simple affair, and a smile graced my face as I thought about my vengeance. ( Just you wait, you damn Cat ill make you pay.) I giggled mischievously. Frons ignored me and buried her face in my neck again. I was just glad she wasn't fondling me. We laid there for another minute until Leafy got back. The little monkey kicked her sister out almost immediately and cuddled her tiny body up to mine. The girls both started arguing like usual. I decided to ask them politely to stop.
"Trying to sleep over here!" I shouted, getting both sisters to stop. Frons reluctantly announced that she would be getting food. The woman childishly stuck her tongue out at her little sister. It was hard to tell who the older sibling really was when they both acted precisely the same. I watched as Frons walked away when she suddenly stopped. I quickly averted my gaze, noticing that I had been staring at her legs for way too long.
"Master? Will we head up the mountain?.. I mean when you're healed." Frons asked as she turned back to me. Leafy also perked up to hear my answer. I paused for a moment in thought. I did indeed want to climb the mountain. I wanted to see if my mothers people were still alive. I also wanted to know if I had family that didn't hate me. My eight brothers could care less about me. I was almost certain that none of them even thought of me in my absents. That may not be the case for my mothers side of the family. But I wasn't as naive to believe that I could just walk into a tribe and expect a warm welcome.
(I need to be prepared. The last time I rushed in, I lost Canem. I can't lose anyone else.) I thought as I looked at two monkeys. I stared off into the forest and hoped Canis was okay.
"Yes, I will be climbing the mountain, Although I only plan to take the cat. I know how dangerous the climb will be." I announced. The two girls seem to be thinking my words over in their heads. I didn't expect them to come with me. I was told that the beast on the mountain top could reach level 8, and I wasn't confident that I could kill a layer 8 beast alone. That's where the tiger came in, but I still didn't think that would be enough. I would love for Frons to come. She would be a great help. However, I understood if she didn't want to follow me.
"Master, I will not speak for my sister, but I will follow you to my death if need be!" Frons said dramatically. I told her that wouldn't be necessary, but she insisted. I then got a long speech on how our lives are now one. ( I'm glad I found this crazy woman.) I thought as I stared at her determined green eyes. Just then the I felt the presence of an alpha enter the forest. Fear gripped me as I scanned the area. I wasn't in the best condition for a fight, although the tiger healed faster than me. I could tell the creature wasn't at peak condition itself. If this new alpha had a pack, we are shit out of luck. The sister both sensed the presence as well and remained still. The tiger lifted its head, also noticing the new alpha.
"It's headed our way!" Warr said as the beast struggled to his feet. I tried to set up myself but had no luck. Frons ran to my side, and Leafy cuddled me harder. I searched my core and was disappointed to find Ki was far too low for any fight. I quickly summoned my sword and ordered Frons to take the blade. Frons grabbed the black sword just as a man emerged from the forest.
