Okay so Mama said that once I was thrown away I turned into a human? But that doesn't make any sense! AGH!!! I pulled at my hair like some maniac as every other creature looked at me scarily.
But then that means...I can become powerful enough to...protect Mama, so I'll do whatever I can to level up! She was stanced in a serious thinking position that made everyone think they were in a nightmare. She's actually thinking?!
"I didn't know she had a brain, Mommy!" A predator's child exclaimed loud enough for Usagi's mother to hear, she gave the child a quick glare whilst smiling at him. Hm? Mama? Who's she looking at? I turned to her as she smiled brightly at me, Usagi just had a blank face as always and trusted her mother.
"usagi, you need to learn how to talk, what are we supposed to do with these lumps of...human sh**?" Mama cussed agitated, as if the earth itself was unsatisfied with the insults they took she spit on their faces and made a scary gangster face.
Mama's right. We have to do something about those lumps of sh-- I mean waste of oxygen. Hm...I took quick glances around the beautiful sprouting forest and snickered, I have an idea.
"..e..!"
Hm? A voice? A human voice?! What do I do?! What should I say? Crap. I...I have to act normal! I rapidly stood up and in the process hit something hard, "Hello hUmAN..! I--I--I aM A nORmaL wItH HUmAN sTIckS aND..! ANd..! i HaLf LOnG stICks oN my PaWs too! Just..! JuSt LiKE YoU!" I stuttered, the words just managed to slip out.
I heard a gasp escape someone's lips and finally opened my clenched eyes, Huh? What is this? this human child...
Before me was a human child boy, sorry, I wouldn't know how else to describe male humans. My eyes shook at the horrific sight, my bunny ears trembled and drooped. what is this child..?! Mama!
I turned towards her for advice, but she only seemed half as scared as me, this is no time to feel pity for the child!
"Child, what is wrong with your face? Did a beast attack you?" His noticeable scars and burns were terrifying, the child beamed a smile at me and said, "I'm fine," with tears welling in his eyes-- How much must this child have gone through?-- I thought.
I couldn't control my worried and pitiful expression, the child just stared at me in confusion, "Girl, Are you okay?" He tried to comfort me, I clenched my lips so hard they started to bleed. I didn't know humans could be so cruel to their own kind like this as well..!!! That's right!
"I am not okay. Human Hunters have killed my own blood and have now tried to get away with it and I..! I..!"
"No I meant...Um...Did your parents abandon you or something?"
"What? No! Never! To suggest that my mother would ever do such a thing..!" I clasped my hands together and sobbed silently, Mama would never, right?
"it's just that...I-uh-- I mean You...clothes...I um--Do you mind?" He spoke bashfully, I looked down at my naked body and raised an eyebrow. Why's he being so shy about it if I've never worn clothes in my entire life? What a strange child...
"Clothes? I've never worn clothes in my entire life. I've always had black hair all over my body," I confessed to him proudly, he nodded and placed a big white shirt over my slender figure.
He buttoned it up unto my chest and turned away with a red face, "Y--Y--You..."
"hm?"
"Girls shouldn't ever show their naked bodies to just about anybody, it should only be with the person they love," He told me, I cringed and nodded at his passing comment. Why do humans think that way? I've always shown my naked body to the predators and my family, they've never said anything. Is it because humans have different customs? Hm...
I quickly glanced at the white hare I called 'Mama' and carried her onto my shoulder, "Alright, I've decided! I will adopt you Human Child!" I announced happily, he was left speechless.
Why does she act like an adult? She looks like she's only 8, He thought scanning every inch of her body not leaving any part unseen.
"but i have..."
"do you have caretakers?"
"no...i'm just a bodyguard-in-training, i've only ever reached level 12...so I won't be of much help..."
"ah...I forgot humans discriminate if you don't have enough power..." I mumbled under my breath and smiled cheerfully, "Alright then! You shall become my butler and bodyguard, child! We'll level up together!"
If he decides to be taken under my wing, it will only benefit me. Humans will not be able to discriminate the beast race anymore and if I become so powerful to be able to destroy the whole world, then no one will dare mess with my Mama or me. I awaited for his response as he was still pondering about the thought.
"Alright. I Promise to forever protect and care for you, Usagi-Sama," Parted white and grey short hair tight in a ponytail reveals a bony, cheerful face. Sparkling honey-dripping eyes, set a-symmetrically within their sockets, watch cautiously over the girl he'd sworn to protect for as long as he'd live.
"What?! My name..!"
"I just thought you looked somewhat like a rabbit, you look small and energetic, you've been pouncing from place to place whilst talking so I thought..." he convinced her with his small explanation but who knew it was probably fate.
'You could even see the droopy ears and tail on his body, what is he? A puppy? Hah...'
"Well...that's my name, I was just wondering how you knew, but I hope we can cooperate from now on, What's your name, Human Child?"
"Hm? Oh my name is---"
