Chapter 36 - Just between me and Thalia

So we've been investigating this woman secretly. What i mean by secretly is, "Ron" doesn't has to know about it. We suspect that this Monika is the side chic of Ron and we are out to figure it out the truth behind these two. Tonight is the fashion show of Monika. I like how we really dress up foe this night, me and Thalia. She is so excited I don't what the reason of her excitement the fashion show or our little detective game. We sat behind to stay low key. We don't really want to catch the attention of the people. It's a small group of young youppies and young millionaires. Seldom do I see people above forties maybe 10 or 12 of them out of 200 people inside the event hall. Thalia went to get us a drink. While I observe closely the movement of Monika she is by the stage since she's the designer of the dresses. I've noticed a familiar face beside her an old man I see at my Dad's office sometimes. It's Veron's Dad so is his Mom. So Monika is friends to these two. They are so supportive towards her. Thalia appeared behind me with champagne on both of her hands. I took one for myself. We talked silently behind people. The show is nice people seem to like it even Thalia can't help but look at the dress she like for herself, but my eyes are where they should be, towards Monika and the old couple behind her. My heard is confused when I saw Ron walked towards their direction and greeted them warmly. Monika is so happy to see him and give him a kiss and hug while Ron answer back her gesture. I can't watch anymore. I just wanna go home.
