Chapter 14 - *ANTANTULLA APPAM

*ANTANTULLA APPAM*

*OCTOBER 15 FRIDAY 2021*

*FAITH AND ANOINTMENT!*

*"He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive" (John 7:38, 39).*

*When you wait with the faith that "Christ is one who anoints. He will surely anoint me", God will give you the anointment of the Holy Spirit. Believe that God is Spirit. Have faith in factors like 'He will come into me and make me understand, He will teach, He will comfort and He will guide me into all truths.'*

*When you believe so, the Holy Spirit who is the river of living water will come into you. The experience of Christianity will not stop with just Salvation and Baptism. Further, you need to receive the anointment of the Holy Spirit and move forward.*

*When Paul the Apostle asked the disciples of Ephesus whether they have received the Holy Spirit while becoming the believers, "They said to him, "We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit." And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied" (Acts 19:2, 6).*

*The Holy Spirit is essential to you for your faith to grow and increase. Many people remain believers but they do not believe in the anointment of the Holy Spirit. Some more people are of the wrong view that they have received the anointment at the time of baptism itself. If it is so, there is no necessity for Paul the Apostle to ask the disciples of Ephesus whether they had received the Holy Spirit.*

*See God as your loving father with your eyes of faith. See Him as one who is going to fulfill what he had promised. See Him as an affectionate father who happily gives all good things to His children.*

*Jesus said, "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him?" (Mathew 7:11). "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him" (Luke 11:13).*

*Cleanse your heart with faith that you will receive the Holy Spirit. Wash your heart with the blemishless blood of Christ. God will surely give you the Holy Spirit when you cleanse the vessel which is your heart and when you seek the same in His presence.*

*To meditate: "For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground;I will pour my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your offspring" (Isaiah 44:3).*
