As the scene vanishes, the trio just stand there for a moment, looking at each other in shock as they process what just happened. "Dude, what the hell? How can you get an invite to the beta itself without going through the tournament? The website itself says only those that rank in the tournament can get in to the beta." Giving a shake off his head, he looks in the direction of the wall with the beta registration page. "Do you really think it's go throu..."
As the siblings glare at him, Lee stops and looks back at them before giving a sigh and nodding in acceptance. "Okay, I'll give you that... I have gone to the trouble once or twice, but not this time. I swear on my position in the guild, I didn't do this."
Giving a nod, Jacyn looks over at the registration page, clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth in thought. "Alright, we need to get as many Boundless players to sign-up as we can." He grins as he looks over at Lee, plans starting to form in his mind. "Call a general guild meeting. I want to see how many we can expect to sign-up for the tournament, especially since we can probably expect to see at least the core members and elders of Shadow Legion."
As he continues to plan and Lee brings up the guild message board to post a new message, Ashley gives a mischievous grin. "I've already signed up for the tournament." As both of them give her a stunned look, she laughs. "Before you say it, yes I'm coming out of retirement, this just seemed too interesting to pass up." Before they have a chance to respond, she holds up a hand.
"Before you say it, I know that the tournament is going to be televised, but from what little I've found out, it will be in a virtual environment. I'll do some more research on the tournament so we can know what to expect." Turning, she rushes out of the chamber and the suite to get to her suite to start the research.
Standing there stunned momentarily, the two state at the door before turning to look at each other. Giving a shake of their heads, Lee returns to posting his message, even as he speaks up. "Man, Jace, I thought your sister swore that she was never going to get into one of these games again." His fingers fly across the holographic keypad in front of him as he types the message and sends it to all members. Not hearing a response, he looks over to see his friend deep in thought.
Standing there looking at the page, his eyes take in all the details, including the scroll like background and the runic style of writing for the headers. 'That person, or whatever it was, called that keep Runeholt, and used the name I used in the first game that Ashley, Lee, and I played in. But, how did they get my first game name? That game was only around for a year before they closed the servers, and nothing was heard from the company again.'
"Sera," he calls out to his virtual assistant as he walks out of the cabin and into his living room, "search for any information for the company that created Runeworld." Looking at the screen with the VGN channel up, he grins to himself, as the VI answers his request. "Understood sir, one moment please."
With nanofiber network lines that reached transmission speeds in the hundreds of zetabytes, and her central core that contained four of Cybergem Technologies highest grade Quantum Core CPUs, his VI was able to search, sort, and collate even files that reached a zetabyte in size in a matter of moments.
Barely getting sat down on his couch as a notification buzz is felt from his wrist band, he looks at the message revealed and shakes his head as he sighs. "What the hell Lee!!!! I didn't say to set it up immediately!" Shaking his head he jumps out of his seat and rushes out the door, calling out as he does. "Sera, I'll be in a guild meeting, I'll look at any information that you're able to find when I return."

Shadow Lands Games Headquarters
"Sir, there's been a situation. An invitation has been sent out to a player, and Runeholt and content tired to it has been activated early for the game."
The man sitting behind the desk looks up in momentary surprise as the developer that was speaking mentioned Runeholt. This man was none other than Joseph Blake, CEO and Founder of Shadow Lands Games. "Did you ask Overlord about it?" He asks curiously as he watches the developer, his eyes locked on the other man. He wasn't a hard man, but sometimes his gaze could be a bit unnerving, like now as the man squirmed under that piercing gaze.
"Yes sir, he says that a candidate was found that could bring out the full potential of the content that has been opened for the game."
Giving a nod, Blake looks at the man and grins slightly. "Good, the I have a new task for you. You're going to be supervisor for the ascension content. You and your team will have your own workspace, so I want you to figure out what you need and work with HR to find your team. You have a week to get a team of five together."
The other man nods and heads out the door as Blake leans back in a chair, a faint smile appearing on his face. "Hmmm, Runeholt and everything to come with. Things are going to be much more interesting, won't it old wolf."

Boundless Alliance Studio
After the meeting, there was a group of twenty intending to take part in the tournament, including Lee, and Ashley. Giving a grin as he heads to his apartment, Jacyn shakes his head at the thought of how much work it was to keep Lee from giving away that he was given a direct invite.
His virtual assistant updated him with what information she was able to find as he makes his way inside and to the living room. 'So, no similarities between the games themselves, but the founder of Shadow Lands Games was the protege of the creator of Runeworld, that's very interesting.' Running a finger along his chin, he grins as he takes a seat. "Sera, transfer the link from the game cabin in here and turn up the volume please."
As VGN played in the background, Jacyn's fingers fly across the panel on his lap, entering his information on the page and filling out the registration for the website. As he finishes, he sits back and grins at the confirmation page. 'Finished, this is going to be interesting. Getting to play in an MMO where four days pass in game for every day out here, and we can actually choose a race, instead of being restricted to human. It was to bad that Ashley's research showed that they haven't released any information on the races yet.'
