"Denzel!"
Denzel's eyes opened up and the first thing he saw was a very bright light and immediately he saw it, he closed his eyes back and blinked.
"Denzel!"
Denzel heard his voice the second time.
"Who are you?" Denzel asked, straining his eyes to get a glimpse of who it was.
"We're the ones."
His eyesight got clearer and he could see who it was at that moment.
"Ariel?" He asked when he saw Ariel stand beside where he laid, on very dry and rocky ground and at Ariel's back, where the rest of them, and once again, the only one missing was Ted.
"Yes, it's I"
"What's wrong? Why are you all staring at me that way?" Denzel looked at them once more and he noticed Leia was also not with them.
"Where is Leia?" Denzel asked once more and got up from where he slept.
"Leia is on her way, we are all going to Autu-"
'Autumn? Autumn park? Is this a dream, or is this real? I wanna try and stop this if I can.' Denzel told himself, as he positioned his forehead in his palms.
"Everyone!"
They all looked back and saw Leia looking as cheerful as ever.
"Run!" Denzel screamed, furious, wondering if it were only him that could notice the knife in Leia's hand.
"Wha-?" Carter said, and before what was wrong, he saw dead bodies lined up beside him.
Leia approached him with the knife and she gave off a burst of very strange laughter. The moment he noticed it, he got up and began to run, without caring about where he ended up at.
"You can't always run away from me, you know that, you coward."
Denzel ignored Leia's words and he ran, as fast as he could, and he got to the edge of a cliff, he lost balance and his feet fell off the cliff. He yelled and the moment his head was about to reach the ground, he jumped up from where he slept, and that was when he realised that he had been dreaming all along.
"Not again," Denzel said, as he opened the zip of the door of the tent he slept in. He came out and saw the whole place. He got there when it was dark, so he couldn't get to see the place clearly.
Everywhere was disorganized, as there were different trees fallen over, dry leaves all over the ground and Denzel knew he wasn't going to enjoy his stay there. He heard a rustling sound and looked in the direction. He noticed a squirrel run away.
"Well, I need breakfast." He said as he turned back to get his bag which he left inside the tent. He took out a pair of joggers. He pulled off his shirt and his trousers and wore the joggers he took. After he was completely dressed, he jumped up a few times and took off.
Denzel could have transformed into his eagle form and caught the squirrel as quick as he wanted to, but, he felt he wasn't going to benefit a thing from it. He planned that, if there is any rigorous task that needs to be done, he was going to complete it as a Human.
Denzel hid, the moment he was able to sight the squirrel and he monitored it, trying to estimate where the squirrel was going to run to next. When he noticed the squirrel was settled at a spot, he decided to attack it at that point. He jumped out, trying to catch it, with his whole body, looking like he was about to squat.
"Gotcha!" Denzel said, as he smirked and he stood up slowly, and to his greatest surprise, there was no squirrel.
"I caught it, so how?"
He paused, the moment he heard sounds of dry leaves rustling. He ran to it, trying to catch it, but the squirrel kept hopping around him.
Denzel tried hiding once more, but the plan failed again. He got up and decided to leave out of frustration, but the sounds that he heard from his stomach disturbed him. He turned back to try once more.
"I am tired!" Denzel yelled, his face looking so aggravated after 10 more minutes of him trying to catch the same squirrel. It already seemed like the squirrel was deliberately playing games with him.
"Seems I just have to transform." Denzel began to transform slowly, and when he had fully transformed, he thought to himself that, 'Well, this isn't to train, it's to eat, so I should just transform this once.'
He was finally victorious and he took the squirrel to his hideout. After setting up a fire, he took out the knife he took along with him and he stabbed the squirrel in the chest so it would stop moving. With the knife, he tried scraping off the pelt and saw it didn't work out and after trying out different ways, he successfully skinned the meat, but it was not neat. Denzel had no choice but to make it that way.
He stood up from where he sat and began to run, looking for a river or a water source close by. Denzel walked about Six to Seven miles and finally found a little pool and he smiled, gasping for breath. He was tired, and he made another alteration to his earlier thought.
"As said, it's only for my breakfast, I would transform to get back this once, only once, yes, it's just one more time." He said as he bent to fill a container with water. He transformed, and flew back to his hideout, washed his meat and roasted it. He ate it and threw away the parts that looked squishy. He drank the water that was left and rested.
Denzel rested in his tent for about 2 more hours and thought, 'I should be training, but it won't take anything to rest a little bit more.'
He stayed there for 2 more hours and reluctantly got up when he began to feel hungry. He went out and began to change his clothes.
'Stressing myself isn't going to help me, I should just transform again, and get myself food. Seems I just have to keep transforming into an eagle to eat. It's just to eat, only to get my food, nothing else.' He thought to himself and threw down his shoes. He transformed and took off.
Denzel repeated the whole thing and wasn't able to gain anything that day, he kept up procrastinating and when the sunset, he got into his tent and entered into his sleeping bag.
