"Here...Be careful because it's hot." Vince said placing the plate in front of Jasmi.
"I can do that!" Jasmi mumbled.
"You are clumsy Jasmi." Vince said as he opened the bottle of Italian wine and filled their wine glasses with it.
Taking a bite from his food, Vince said, "Jasmi, Are you really going to invite Wendy?".
Jasmi raised her eyebrows and replied plainly, "Yes, Do you have any problem?"
Vince cleared his throat and said, "No but you know...inviting her might be little awkward....".
Taking a sip from her wine, Jasmi asked, "Are you still into her?"
"What? No!" Vince shook his head making Jasmi look at him impatiently. Just then Jasmi gulped down the whole content of her glass.
"Why are you so anxious?" She rapt attention to his expression.
After few moments of silence, Vince gave a deep sigh and said, "Jasmi, she and I ended in a good term. I don't wanna be a dickhead who invite his ex to his wedding. It will be like I am disrespecting you."
"I don't know!" Jasmi answered with the eyes full of darkness before she straightened herself and stood up.
"Where are you going?" She grabbed her wrists. His expression was nervous.
"Washroom!" Jasmi dodged his hand before she dashed in left direction.
Vince was watching her retreating back and ran his finger in his head with bitter expression.
There was complete silence in the car. Jasmi had directed her gaze to the scenery outside the moment she got into the car.
"Jasmi, you know..... ".
"Stop! Don't say anything. I don't want to hear your voice". Jasmi snapped.
Vince face fell, well-aware that she was still upset at him. His warm and fair hand wrapped around her hand not allowing Jasmi to move her hand.
"Okay, I am sorry". Vince sigh in exhaustion. He gave her hand a squeeze and added, "Alright. Let's invite her".
Jasmi pulled back her hand and straightened her body. "No, I don't want to invite her anymore".
Vince raised an eyebrow and said in gentle tone, "As you wish".
The car stop one block away from Naina's apartment.
"Are you still upset at me?"
Jasmi turned to open the door but she paused and turned towards the man who was speaking.
Jasmi leaned against the door frame and asked, "When did I upset at you?"
Upon hearing Jasmi, Vince placed his hand on the door. Jasmi couldn't help but press her back against the door, but she was still confined by his arms.
"You are scaring me!" Jasmi peered up at him.
"Jasmi, we are going to get married next month but you still doubt me. And I don't really like this attitude of yours".
Her lashes trembled slightly as she stared at the man's face inches away from her.
She pressed her hands on Vince's shoulders to put some distance between them. "Okay. I will try to change it. I am not an unreasonable person".

Naina fell asleep after watching a movie on her phone, unsure of when she dozed off. Because of the high intensity of her job, sleep was a luxury to her.
Naina seemed to wake up at the first instant. She sat up and received the call.
"Yes, Ronu!" Naina greeted her brother.
"Did I disturb you?" Ronu asked.
"No... What's wrong?" She stretched her back.
"Sis, You don't need to send the money for my admission. I got scholarship" Ronu said in cheerful tone.
"Scholarship!" Naina's eyes twitched. "From College?" Naina added.
"Yes... kind of. Actually its from influential company. Starting from this year they gave to straight A student".
"Okay. Do you know which company? You have to know the details". Naina said in serious tone.
"Don't worry! Its from Olls Group. Your company". Ronu replied.
"Okay" Naina said after going silent for two seconds. Naina hung up and gave a long breath out.
It was the first time she had met such a person. This was problematic and a little hard to handle, leaving her helpless.
