Naina felt sleepy again, even though she had just woken up. If not for the sound of the doorbell, she would have slept again.
"Evan will pick me up when he come back from his work" Jasmi said sluggishly.
Naina scrambled towards her and poured a cup of tea. "Did Evan signed with Olls?"
"No. Seems like Ryu Shyam doesn't agreed on some points" Jasmi shrugging her shoulders as she put her tea down.
"Mmm" Naina nodded with a knowing look. "Where did you go?" Naina asked.
"Well... A date with Vince". Jasmi said with a soft look in her eyes.
Naina looked at her silently before a smile spread across her face. "Jasmi, It's good to see you finally took your decision".
A smile broke out on Jasmi's face when she heard her. "Yes. I put everything aside and give a chance to myself. I shouldn't let the man whom I loved for ten years slid away from my hand easily when he is already stood in front of me." Her tone was more like convincing herself.
Naina gave her a thoughtful look. "Seems like he is meant for you".
--------
Jasmi was giving Naina a head massage as she stood behind her while she sat on the couch.
"How's with Ryu Shyam?" Jasmi asked as she continued to massage her head with tender circular motions.
"Jasmi, Shyam is too unfathomable and mesmerizing; he isn't a man you can easily mess with." Naina growled.
"When did I mess with him? Aren't you the one who rejected him?" Jasmi let's out a short sardonic as she sat upright.
Naina hissed dejectedly when she heard that. "Don't be so friendly with a calculative man like him just because he let you interview him."
Jasmi sighed frustratedly before she replied. "I told you, he overhead our conversation about going to Tennis club".
"Okay, I believe you" Naina hissed as she lolled back on the sofa.
"Uhmm" Jasmi awkwardly cleared her throat. "Naina, I heard this from our senior colleague. Even though Shyam is a upper class man, he doesn't have private messy life." Jasmi told her making Niana's eyes shoot upto her.
"And Why are you telling me that?" Naina asked, her voice snappy.
"Alright! I won't talk about him" Jasmi said, slightly tilting her head sideways.

Director office....
Naina knocked on the door and opened it only when her boss to give his permission. Stepping inside the office, Naina saw her boss busy sorting blueprints on his long table.
Shyam looked up from the document in front of him to the door when he heard a knock.
Naina hold his gaze and asked, "Director, Why was my salary increased by double?".
"Congratulations!" Shyam said flatly before his attention was buried deep in the documents on his table.
Naina opened her mouth to say something yet no voice came out and she just stood there without moving.
Shyam could tell she was staring at him, because he feel her gaze on him. He lifted his head up and cocked a brow at her in a questioning way.
"My brother scholarship!" Naina looked at him, she seemed a little scary with her eyes spitting fires.
Shyam straightened his back and his gaze landed on Naina, his eyes unreadable.
"You know what I am talking about. Can you please..." Naina speech slurred when he got up from his seat and started walking towards her.
Her eyes cautiously followed him as he slowly walked towards her. Shyam had both hands in the suit's pockets, his posture tall as he stood there, his eyes landing on the angry face of Naina.
"What kind of person is your boyfriend?" Shyam asked making Naina sighed in resignation.
"I guess that is not related with this conversation". Naina said sternly.
"Yes it is. Because of him you are rejecting me right now" A trace of impatience appeared on Shyam's face.
Naina's eyes flashed momentarily, awkwardness setting in because she lied about having boyfriend.
