It’s more than twenty years after the new millennium. Amid the rising skyscrapers, recent housing developments, public transport modernization programs, and new generation of influencers and vloggers, are constants in the Philippines’ society - the shamans. In this alternate world, Filipino mythological creatures intermingle in peace with humans. A tiyanak is a child star. A sarimanok the mascot of a popular channel. A manananggal a sought-after model. Even diwatas and sigbins are leaders of their own party lists. But even in this highly inclusive world, there are those who tiptoe beyond the line - be it humans or mythological creatures. The shamans who wield sigla, also known as spiritual energy, are responsible for keeping the peace between the supernatural beings and humankind. Within this chaotic setting, Billie, a tired, depressed young woman, tries to get back on her feet together with Puddle, the duwende. Maybe life in the country is not so peaceful after all?

Hey guys! I wanted to start this off by saying I'm not good at writing, so please be nice. Also trigger/content warning: ‼️‼️THERE IS HOMOPHOBIA AND HOMOPHOBIC SLURS IN THIS STORY ‼️‼️ There's going to be violence, angst and Mature content. This is a slow-burn book, so prepare for a LOT of angst!! Fully OP MC. Wandering around the world/ worlds and generally having a good time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sorry not good at synopsis, it's basically a totally OP MC doing whatever he wants. English is my native language, but I'm not gonna be proof reading every little thing so errors are to be expected, general grammar should be pretty good though. Also I have no "stockpile" of chapters, chances are whatever you're reading has been made on the same day. Second also, there is literally no plot, I write whatever I feel like and chances are there's going to be a lot of "plot holes" I'm not even gonna try to fix them so there's not much point in asking. If someone really cares tho and leaves me a solution I might be able to fix it. Third also, there will be no lewd scenes in this book, there may be a couple more graphic fighting scenes but they will be kept to a minimum. Furthermore I have no idea what a plot hole is, I repeat, I literally write whatever I want whenever I want and dw this novel probably won't ever get dropped the release rate will just be super unstable. It'll increase in holidays tho.

He held unto her waist as he fell too so that he wouldn't fall on her and possibly crush her frail body. Funny enough, he ended up straddling her with his hands on hers, above her head. She stared at him and he did the same. Not knowing that he was subconsciously leaning his head forward she shut her eyes as his hot breath fanned her face she gulped.
