CHANGE TV station.
"You got big dark circles around your eyes. What did you do last night?" Putting the coffee in front of Jasmi, Sophie shakes her head.
"What did you want?" Jasmi gaze on Sophie was unfriendly.
A small smile formed at the corners of Sophie's lips as she crossed her two slender arms in front of her chest.
"I have been wondering how people would react if we published an articles of one reporter who locked up in jail for a night. It will be on headlines right?"
Jasmi looked at Sophie with a tenderness flashed across her face, but that vanished after a split second. "Hurry up! What do you want?".
Jasmi arrived at North Military camp about half an hour later. She felt her heart race as she stood in front of the sky tall gate. But suddenly she felt her heart thumping hard when she recalled her Mother had once told her that Vince got posting here. Jasmi took deep breaths to calm herself.
--------
Jasmi walked up to the lady who had been in charge of coordinating the trainers.
"Hello, I am Uil Jasmi from CHANGE TV." Jasmi flashed her business like smile and handed over her business card.
"Please follow me" The lady informed said.
"Thank you" Jamsi said with a smile.
As the lady knocked on the door and pushed the door open, Jasmi almost stopped breathing when she saw who was seated in front of her.
Jasmi thought that the universe is quite funny. He can't possibly be the same guy she has been avoiding.
Jasmi stood fixated to a spot, no this can't be. She looked at the door and back at the man in front of her. She was tempted to turn around and run.
"Doctor Vince!"
The lady's voice snapped her out of her trance.
"Why are you so surprised?" Vince stared at the person in front of him for a long time.
Feigning her confidence, Jasmi said, "Hello, I am Jasmi from CHANGE TV. I came here to interview. Thank you for your cooperation" Jasmi greeted without meeting his gaze.
Vince was shocked when he saw the lady that stepped into his office. He had almost turned down the request to interview, but luckily he didn't.
"Hello, Miss Jasmi. I am Doctor Vince. Please take a seat". Vince said with his eyes fixed on her.
Jasmi glanced at him before occupying the seat which was opposite him.
A chuckle escaped him. "Nervous?".
"Doctor Vince, Let's start the interview". Jasmi stated with annoyance.
"I'm sorry miss Jasmi, I couldn't give you interview". Vince said blandly.
"You...?" She muttered soundlessly under her breath. "Why?" Jasmi asked. Her gaze was daring and condescending.
"What do you think?" He asked back without looking at her.
"Hey, Don't be so childish." Jasmi said with an exasperated expression.
Vince studied her expression for a while and tore a thin smile, "A well cooked meal and weekend treat by you".
Jasmi stare at him with stink eyes, "It's not funny. I am busy. I don't have time".
"Hmm" Vince mumbled, nodding his head up and down. "Okay but surely you are going to have time for me soon" He cocked his brow at her in a challenging manner.
At that moment, Jasmi whipped her phone out of her bag when her phone started ringing. Jasmi took a quick peek at Vince before she answered the call.
"Okay. Send me later" She quickly said into the phone and abruptly dropped the call.
"Alexson! The one I know" His gaze flickered.
"Hmm..." She cleared her throat.
"Are you still dating him?"
"No!" Jasmi denied quickly.
"Then, Why are you still in contact with him?" Vince pronounced, which terrified Jasmi a little.
Jasmi peered into the dark eyes of Vince. "Because I work with him. And Why do I have to explain these things to you?".
