A sleek white car stopped before Jasmi, the window on her side rolled down, "Hop-in."
Jasmi sat inside quietly with cheerless expression.
"Buckle your seatbelt" Vince said as he stretched out his hand towards Jasmi seat but Jasmi immediately buckled her seat belt. The entire process was so fast that Vince didn't quite know what to make of it.
"Where are we going?" Jasmi asked.
"We are going somewhere to eat" Vince already sat on the driver's seat, igniting the car to life.
"I told you, I am busy. You are wasting my time" Jasmi asserted.
Vince shrugged his shoulders and said, "One date won't harm you".
Vince already parked his car in the parking lot of the hotel where they are going to have their lunch.
When Vince held out his hand to her after he secured their car, Jasmi walked straight totally ignoring him, making Vince follow her.
"You are most beautiful when you are acting rough". Vince said with a chirpy smile as he wrapped his hand around her shoulder.
Jasmi stopped in her tracks. With Vince stopping as well as they are now outside the hotel, the girl glared at him and said, "Put your hands away".
Vince raised a brow and inquired in a teasing manner, "Aren't you a little sensitive for just a little tease?"
"Put it away before I smack the back of your head so hard!"
Vince remained silent while staring at her pretty shoulder and his own hand. A while later, he took his hand away. "Isn't that mean?" Vince said with a chuckle and continued, "You dare hit your husband hmm?"
"Husband? We are not getting married yet". Jasmi pupils constricted. "Moreover Who said I am going to marry you?" Jasmi's tone was getting more and more high-strung.
"Vince? You're Vince, right?"
Suddenly, a surprised voice rang. Vince looked over subconsciously and saw a tall woman approached them. The woman was dressed in business attire. Her ensemble was composed of a grey pencil skirt with a white crisp shirt and her hair tied in a high ponytail. She exuded maturity and class.
"Vince, it's really you. I knew I didn't see wrongly!". The woman grinned ear to ear happily. Vince smiled and greeted the woman. "Olish, Long time no see".
"I didn't expect to see you here". Olish shyly tugged her imaginary hair.
Vince glanced at Jasmi quietly before he pulled her towards him, Vince introduced, "This is my fiancee, Jasmi". Vince squeezed her shoulder.
The woman expression suddenly become stiff. She pushed a doting smile and said, "Hi! I am Olish. Vince and I studied together. Nice to meet you".
"Umm.. Nice to meet you" Jasmi smile back.
"You came here to have lunch right?" Olish asked while Vince nodded.
"Right! This hotel chicken curry is the best. I still remember the day you ate the curry so deliciously." Olish said with a light chuckle.
"Yes.." Vince nodded and gave a sideways glance only to find Jasmi looking at him with her eyes narrowed.

Vince frowned when he saw Jasmi eating the God damn Salad like it was the tastiest thing in the whole world.
"Why? You don't like. You told me to order whatever I want" Jasmi said flatly. "Should I order your favorite Chicken curry?" Jasmi added with a faint smile and a meaningful tone.
Vince pressed his lips into a thin line and remained silent.
Jasmi pause for a moment when Vince took a mouthful of salad. Picking up the fork Jasmi continued to eat with sparkling face.
"Jasmi, I need to go washroom. Stay here and don't go anywhere before I come" Vince said while Jasmi nodded.
Jasmi shift uncomfortably in her seat. She has been waiting Vince more than thirty minutes. Feeling bored, she was about to get up, it turned out that the lights were all dead, made Jasmi panic.
Right after the light ran out, the lights had come back to life, allowing Jasmi to breathe a sigh of relief.
