Chereads / Let Love Choose / Chapter 2 - 1

Chapter 2 - 1

Aldi's weakness is that he can't argue with Mellina, his mother. Especially if the woman pretended to be sick. Aldi will immediately comply with his request even though he knows his mother is pretending to be sick.

Like this time, Mellina ordered Aldi to go to the house of the girl he was going to marry. Aldi immediately nodded and packed his things. He didn't ask much anymore even though his heart was grumbling incoherently.

If he could choose, Aldi would not want an arranged marriage. He can still find a potential companion for him, his mother doesn't need to intervene. After all, Aldi already has a tether. Her name is Tania, the girl he has been dating for almost two years.

Don't ask again how he feels about the girl. This beautiful girl is his first love and his first girlfriend. Since the first time he knew what Love was, Aldi had fallen in love with the girl.

But what can he do, he doesn't want to hurt Mellina's heart by openly not wanting to be matched. Aldi will still go to Jakarta. Lives with the girl he is going to set up with for three months. Aldi thinks it's not a long time. There, Aldi will think about how to cancel this ridiculous matchmaking. After that, he will return to Bandung and resume his love story with Tania.

"Mommy doesn't want to cancel this matchmaking? Aldi already has a future daughter-in-law for Mama." Aldi is still trying to make Mellina change her mind.

Mellina, who helped pack Aldi's things, shook her head briefly, "No. This is Mama's decision and can't be contested."

"Then if Aldi is there, is Mama alone here?" asked Aldi. Because he only lives alone with Mellina. There are no assistants either. Liston, his dad is out of town on police service.

"Later, Salsha's mother will accompany Mommy here. So you just calm down."

"So her name is Salsha," Aldi muttered, "It's not even a bad name, let alone the person."

"You can't be like that." Mellina lightly hit Aldi's leg, "Mommy, I've seen the photo. It's beautiful. It suits you."

"Tania is beautiful too. Mommy has never met Tania. Try if you meet. Mommy will immediately cancel this ridiculous matchmaking and bless me and Tania."

Mellina closed Aldi's suitcase and sat next to her only child, "Tania, Tania, only Tania you said. If you have met Salsha you will also forget Tania."

"No way. Aldi is a loyal person, like Daddy." he sneered, "There will be a maid there, right."

"No." Mellina shook her head, "You two live alone with Salsha."

Aldi widened his eyes. Living alone with a girl he doesn't know is his worst nightmare, "So what does Aldi eat? Aldi is sure he can't cook. Not like Tania, whose food is delicious."

Mellina rolled her eyes, since when did Aldi become like this, "That's enough, Aldi. You better get ready to go to Jakarta."

Aldi nodded resignedly, "But before leaving, Aldi goes to Tania's house first. I want to say goodbye. Maybe someone's children want to be left alone."

Mellina shook her head at Aldi's behavior. She was so hesitant to match Aldi. His son loves Tania too much, Mellina can feel it from the look on Aldi's face when he mentions the girl's name.

Knock knock...

Salsha stomped her foot in annoyance when there was an impatient knock on her door. Because of his phone call with Farel, the guy who became his target to become his girlfriend was forced to stop. He descended the stairs one by one with an oath to the person who knocked on his door.

Knock knock...

"Yeah, hold on," Salsha grumbled annoyed.

Salsha opened the door of her house and frowned in surprise to see a man standing holding a suitcase, "Who are you? Bring another suitcase. You think my house is a boarding house."

The man just smiled his cynical smile and dragged his suitcase into Salsha's house. Salsha widened her eyes, how dare the man enter her house without being polite.

"Who are you? Just come in. It's not very polite." Salsa pouted.

Instead of answering the man, he watched Salsha's appearance from top to bottom. He swallowed his saliva when he realized that Salsha was only wearing a tank top and hot pants, showing the girl's beautiful curves.

If this continues, I am afraid that my faith will not be strong. This girl is so sexy. Aldi thought.

Salsha followed the man's gaze and took a few steps back. He glared at the man, "What are you looking at? What a perverted boy."

"Blame yourself. How come you welcome guests like that." sneered back at the man.

"I like it. My clothes. It's just your eyes that are flirtatious." said Salsha annoyed.

"Who's coming, Sha." Helen approached Salsha at the main door because she heard a noise. She frowned at the man who came to his house.

"Auntie must be Aunt Helen, right?" the man smiled and stabbed Helen.

Helen nodded, she tried to remember who the man was, "You must be Aldi, right? Mellina's son."

"Yes, Auntie. I'm Aldi." Aldi introduced himself politely.

Sasha rolled her eyes. The man named Aldi is very smart to win the hearts of his parents. Hypocritical.

"You know, this is my aunt's child, her name is Salsha. The girl who will be matched with you." Helen introduced Salsha.

Aldi stretched out his hand, he smiled faintly, "Aldi."

Sasha snorted in annoyance. His behavior now was different from before Helen. However, Salsha could not help but reply to the outstretched hand, "Salsha." She said not interested.

"You take Aldi to the guest room, okay. Mama wants to get ready first." Helen walked away from the two of them.

"So where's my room?" Aldi asked while raising his eyebrows, teasing the girl.

"Just look upstairs. The room is empty," said Salsha nonchalantly. She crossed his arms in front of his chest and didn't look at Aldi at all.

Aldi sighed. Not wanting to argue anymore, Aldi dragged his suitcase and started climbing the stairs of the house where he will be staying for the next three months, and looking for a room for him to rest.

Salsha kicked the sofa, she was still annoyed by the arrival of the man she didn't know. She thought the man would not want an arranged marriage and came to her house. But everything is in contrast to the existing reality.

"Eh, but what if he's in the wrong room? What if he comes into my room and looks at Farel's photos, what about it?" Sasha whispered.

Not wanting to think too long, Salsha immediately followed Aldi upstairs. And sure enough, Salsha saw Aldi was opening the door to his room. Salsha moved quickly and held the man's hand, "That's my room." Salsha closed her room again and looked at Aldi flatly.

"How would I know." Aldi shrugged his shoulders, "So where is my room? I'm tired, I want to rest."

"That, right there." Salsha pointed to the room right next to hers.

"Is that my room?"

Sasha nodded, "Yes."

Aldi raised his eyebrows, teasing Salsha again, "You did it on purpose, did you give me my room next to yours? So that you can easily peek at me."

"See you!" Salsa pouted. He wanted to smack the man's head, "That's all the guest room upstairs is. Do you want to sleep downstairs?"

"Whatever. I want to rest first." Aldi opened the door to his room and went inside. He wanted to sleep for a while to relieve the tiredness he felt.

After Aldi's death, Salsha grumbled. Can't imagine what it's like to live at home with a naughty man like Aldi. Surely the days will get worse.

"Are you sure you want to create an account to live alone with him?" Salsha grumbled incoherently in Helen's room. Meanwhile, Helen is preparing the clothes that she will bring to Bandung.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen between you and him. Aunt Mellina and Uncle Liston are good people. So the child is good." Helen stopped what she was doing and turned to rub Salsha's head.

"Good parents, their children are not necessarily good," Salsha tried to influence Helen's mind, "Just earlier, she looked at Salsha from top to bottom, her face looks like lust, huh. What if I raped her?"

"Yes, that's good. It means your marriage will be hastened," Helen chuckled.

Salsha shuddered, just imagining it made her nauseous, "Ugh, Mama. Salsha is serious, Ma. Salsha is afraid of what will happen to her."

"If you look like this, Aldi deserves to see you. Salsha, it's not good to just wear a tank top and hot pans when you have guests. You take care of your appearance, okay. Don't provoke Aldi's passion." Helen rubbed Salsha's shoulder, "I've thought about this problem far ahead. I'm sure Aldi won't dare to mess with you. Don't worry, okay. It's only three months."

Salsha stood up, stomped her foot in annoyance, "Mama doesn't understand Salsha, does she. Mama only thinks about herself and the company. Salsha doesn't want this matchmaking to happen." Salsha ran away from Helen.

Salsha enters her room and cries for her fate. Bad luck that she will go through for the next three months or even forever.

"I don't want to be married. I don't want to."
