"Where did it go?" Sophia questioned in amazement at how her own portion of pizza disappeared when she had left it separately on a plate before she went to put her mobile phone to charge.
Her eyes scanned suspiciously all the people who once again had gathered in their living room and had ordered pizzas.
"Shiro baby, did you see what pig took my share?" She asked and Shiro shook his head negatively as Dimitra and Anna tried to hold back their laughter as their eyes stared at Christin who whistles indifferently looking around.
"Christin! I do not believe you! What am I going to eat now eh ?!" Sophia shouted at her and now everyone burst out laughing in her face, making Sophia even angrier.
However, not everyone were enjoying their time there, as there existed some that would have like to be invisible at that moment, each for their own reasons.
Jay because he was immersed in his thoughts and because he had to withstand Sophia and Shiro together one more time after the tough night he passed on his own yesterday night in his hotel room in which he ended up not sleeping at all because of his thoughts. And Theo, because he had not yet clarified things with Dimitra and the situation between them, was awkward as she kept completely ignored his existence.
"Come on girl~You can eat your boy and get full," Christin teased with intentions of annoying Sophia a bit and basically playing the situation as nothing serious, however, her words seemed to have hit more on Shiro who smile wickedly at the innuendo of her words while the rest burst out laughing.
Sophia just glared at Christin a bit more then she left her eyes to awkwardly and briefly travel at Jay who heard well but disliked that innuendo, enough to clench his jaw and throw his eyes towards the floor, in an attempt to hide, his bitterness.
It sure felt strange to him, that everyone around him seemed to be having fun while he was basically boiling over his own thoughts, silently. It felt so annoying that he had thought multiple times of telling everyone to shut up and walk away, for their waves of laughter were getting on his nerves. Thankfully for him, however, Lisa's entry made that joyful sound that was irritating him, come to a halt, as she drew their attention with her return home.
"Welcome back, how was your day?" Anna asked as soon as her eyes fell on Lisa who did not look at her best.
"I'm tired." She replied monotonously and left on the table, the bag with the sandwich she had bought but ultimately did not find time to eat it because of her back to back lectures.
"Sophia, you can eat it if you want. It's untouched and Your voices could be heard all the way outside, just so you know."
"My love~ You are my only friend from now on, and Christin, you just wait and you will see. I will avenge myself. " Sophia threatened after giving a quick hug to Lisa and then went and sat down to eat at last.
"Won't you sit down?" Reina raised an eyebrow at Lisa as she saw her emptying her bag on the table, leaving there all her books.
"Tonight I start working, I don't have time to stay." She informed them right before she ran to her room, to change her coat and leave.
"She got a job? What job?" Christin questioned between her chewing and the attention of the rest who were as clueless as her about the subject, turned towards the person that Christin was looking at.
"We didn't know either till last night. She said that saw something she liked very much but it was very expensive and she got a job to gather money." Dimitra explained the excuse that Lisa told them since she could not tell them that she needed them for Joel.
Of course yesterday she had not found any job yet but today she had made her moves and got a position as a part-timer, despite the fact that the amount that she needed was not something that she could collect by working honestly but Lisa had her own plans note down and her own path to take, before concluding to an illegal method.
"Did anyone see where I left my keys?" Lisa questioned them as soon as she returned to the living room, looking around in a hurry for them.
"You could have forgotten them on the jacket you changed," Sophia suggested and she rushed back to her room to check.
"Lisa, you do not need to hurry, I will drive you there" Jay raised his voice, aiming for her to hear him yet he managed to get everyone's attention as well for his sudden act of speaking up and offering such a thing, got everyone curious.
"Will you pass by the hotel again?" Theo commented teasingly, a wink by Jamie following his words right before the two started giggling to each other, upon receiving Jay's death stare as a response.
"Hotel?!! What am I hearing Lisa? You didn't tell us anything about that." Christin seized the opportunity to play with the nerves of her friend who had just returned to the living room and gave Theo a deadly look, for she had heard him well enough.
Sophia, on the other hand, had turned her eyes to Jay, who deliberately averted her gaze, making Sophia's thoughts get wild and a fit of irrational anger rush over her at the thought that he could have possibly made a move on one of her best friends.
"Look, I would totally take care of your funeral as well as a nice grave for the other victim over there who has suicidal tendencies but fortunately for you both, I am in a hurry." Lisa pointed at both Theo and Jamie as she left her threatening words and the two fell quiet immediately for her gaze seemed rather serious and scared them, enough to hold back their own breath which they left free after she turned around to put on her shoes.
"Let them say whatever baby," Jay uttered as he approached Lisa and left his arms to wrap around her waist, in order to pull her towards him slightly, an action that made everyone's mouths hand open, including Lisa's since she was definitely not expecting that.
Jay gave a quick glance at Sophia before he proceeded to give a smile to Lisa then take hold of her wrist and pull her out of the house, along with him. Leaving some of them stunned in place and others staring fiercely towards the front door from which the two just walked out.
"Can you tell me what the heck do you think that you are doing? Did you lost your mind completely?" Lisa pushed Jay angrily yet he did not let go of her wrist until they reach in front of the elevator.
"I am trying to make her jealous, what else does it look like I'm doing?" He explained as soon as the elevator doors opened and closed, giving them the reassurance that no one could eavesdrop on them.
"Oh, how brilliant. How come your brilliant mind did not consider asking me before going ahead and involving me, I wonder!?" Lisa turned her furious feelings into sarcasm as she definitely did not like the fact that he got her involved and made trouble for her again.
'How the heck do I withstand the things Shiro's mouth is about to say now. Gosh~' She thought inwardly, already feeling ready to punch someone right then and there out of frustration.
"Didn't you want to be my friend? Friends help each other so now you have to help me. I have no one else." Jay's gaze softened as he spoke to her, making an attempt to pursue her in a kind way for he really was in need of her cooperation at this point.
"I never help others for free, you know," She deadpanned while crossing her arms over her chest, considering the fact that now she could not pull out of the mess anyway so might as well gain something out of this farce.
"Free Chocolates, as many as you want and whenever you want. I am also willing to personally deliver them 24/7." Jay played his best card as he had realized so far her love for chocolates and what better but to throw at her the most tempting thing he had to offer, leaving Lisa with thoughts that instantly started to agree with his deal.
The reason she was gonna agree however was not really only the chocolates as they were just a bonus for her. She was doing it because from what she learned last year, she was in dept towards Jay too and somehow responsible for his break up with Sophia and because of that, she owed to them both to help them fix their broken relationship. Even though she didn't consider the idea of jealousy as something that's gonna prove successful for as far as she knew Sophia, she was not the jealous type.
"I am in, however, under one condition only."
"Accepted, all accepted, just pretend that you like me for a while until she gets jealous," Jay replied hurriedly for no matter what her condition was he was gonna accept anything in exchange for her help and Lisa just smiled broadly at him, finding his desperation quite funny.
'It seemed that among this chaos, I am gonna have some fun.' She thought to herself as she stepped out of the elevator while imagining in her head the near future that may come for them.

"I swear this old witch has something against me," Lisa complained as the first day at work as a room cleaner in a large well-known Hotel, did not go as perfectly and smoothly as she had thought about.
The lead housekeeper did not seem to like newcomers very much and she so happened to take a specific dislike on Lisa, or so she had concluded, after her mean comments towards her to which Lisa had responded with the same sneaky and sly vibe, ending up being further disliked by her supervisor and as such leaving from work at midnight instead of 10:30 were her shift was supposed to be over.
An exhale of frustration left her mouth as she reached to the door and she proceeded to zip all the way up her Jacket for she had guessed that the temperature outside must have been chill. And she sure was right since once she stepped outside, she got welcomed by the cold night air but also by a well-known male person whose sudden appearance was completely unpleasant to her.
"How did you find me?" She spoke coldly as her gaze flickered in fractions of a second, feeling slightly scared by facing him again.
"Did anyone told you that I ever lost you, doll?" Raven smiled at her as he continued twirling the knife in between his fingers, skillfully.
"Are you going to willingly follow me for a walk or do you want me to force you to follow me?"
