This was an alternate dimension with a world of swords and magic, it was also a world dotted with giant dragons everywhere. Everyone would receive a dragon egg at a young age and would be tasked to practice musical pieces. These dragon eggs required their masters to hatch them with a musical piece. Just as all the youths were in the process of hatching their dragon eggs, Roke who was a genius musician transmigrated to this world. When he was still unfamiliar with the world, the instructor in charge of teaching them was already hurrying him to start performing. The befuddled Roke had no choice, so he just casually played the piece “Victory”. The next moment, a gigantic magic matrix appeared. His dragon egg started to crack and a strange baby dragon that even the instructor wasn’t able to identify appeared. The high priest known as the Prophet of the World gave his final prophecy before he died, “I saw the victory."

Chapter 1 - Transmigration? Rebirth? The Dragon Continent of Swords and Magic

Locke washed up and prepared to go back to sleep. Suddenly, he heard some strange sounds. Mysterious images kept popping up in his brain.

He immediately picked up his phone to check the time. It was only 10 o'clock. He had not stayed up late recently. How could he be hallucinating?

Locke quickly laid down on the bed and prepared to fall asleep. As soon as he laid down, something happened. His consciousness seemed to strip away, and he felt himself being pulled into a black abyss.

When he opened his eyes again, he realized that he was standing on a high platform.

Turning around, he observed his surroundings and realized that everyone was wearing the same outfit.

'Academy uniform? Am I dreaming? No way… This is too realistic!'

Very soon, a wave of memories from his body surged into his soul. He immediately understood where he was right now.

This was a world of swords and magic, and many people in this world owned dragons. Those who owned dragons were well-known experts of this continent.

Today was the day Reynolds Locke hatched a dragon. Every student in the school had a chance to hatch the dragon. However, not everyone could do it!

Beside him, a teacher with curly hair and a pair of near-sighted eyes urged, "Locke, why are you in a daze? Quickly release your magic! Release your awakening melody!"

Under the urging of his mentor, Locke used his host's memories to wave his magic staff.

Magical instruments appeared and floated mid-air. Under Locke's command, these instruments began to play in an orderly manner.

"Victory" was Locke's favorite piece of music, and the meaning behind it was victory! Under Locke's control, the instruments produced a beautiful melody.

The melody was playful and intriguing, enrapturing everyone present.

Everyone was so engrossed in the melody that no one realized that a huge magic array had appeared above the dragon egg.

The magic array grew larger and larger, covering the entire sky above the capital city of the Kingdom of Dunmei.

Everyone in the city saw the huge and complicated magic array. Even the king couldn't help but walk out of his room to look at the sky.

"What's happening?"

The king immediately instructed his chief mage to investigate the strange occurrence.

Soon, Locke's music reached its climax. Everyone in the city was enchanted by Locke's beautiful melody.

When the music ended, the magic array shrank rapidly and fused into the dragon egg.

The dragon egg in front of Locke hatched in an instant, and a little dragon from within immediately broke out of its shell. A young white dragon with light attributes appeared in front of everyone.

Everyone who were immersed in the beautiful melody were suddenly jolted back to their senses when they realized the dragon egg had hatched.

When the mentor saw this, he immediately shouted to the person beside him, "Quick! Go and inform the dean!" The guard who stood outside the door glanced at the hatchling and immediately sped toward the dean's office.

When the little white-scaled creature saw Locke, it immediately flapped its wings and flew into his arms. Because it had just been born, it viewed Locke as its own family. The little thing lovingly cooed in Locke's embrace.

Locke looked at the young dragon in his arms and sensed that it was hungry!

He immediately left the incubation room under the watchful gaze of those surrounding him.

His mentor reached out his hand, as if to say something. However, as he was still under the influence of Locke's music, he was stunned in place. After a long while, he remembered what he intended to tell Locke, 'You haven't given it a name yet!'

Meanwhile, Locke brought the young dragon to the dining hall, and it immediately attracted a lot of attention. Based on past circumstances, once a dragon was hatched, there would definitely be a notification to inform everyone on the updates. However, there wasn't one this time around, what in the world was happening?

Moreover, the head chef in the dining hall had been working here for more than 10 years, but he had never seen a dragon like the one in Locke's hands. He could not identify the young dragon's breed.

White? It was not just plain white. It was a brilliant white, representing the Holy Light attribute!

With this suspicion in mind, he hurried to the kitchen to work.

No matter what kind of attribute a dragon was, he was just a chef who cooked dragon food. He had no right to care about such things.

While he waited for the dragon food, Locke suddenly remembered that he had not named this little dragon.

Locke cocked his head upwards as he recalled—bestowing a name was something that required a lot of knowledge. However, Locke was only a music genius before coming here, so he could not come up with any decent names. Thus, he chose a name from among the many outstanding female musicians!

"From today onward, I'll call you Eliza!"

Just as Locke gave the little dragon its name, a ray of white light flashed across the chest of the young white dragon. At the same time, a light symbol was engraved on his wrist.

His mentor had just run into the dining hall from the teacher's room when he saw Locke signing a contract with the dragon.

'Phew! Fortunately, Locke has given his dragon a name. Otherwise, who knows what would have happened if the passersby here discovered that there was a baby dragon here that had not signed a contract with its master!'

Seeing that Locke and the dragon were safe and sound, he quietly left the dining hall. He had too many things to do now!

Firstly, he had to report to the dean at the dean's conference room, and secondly, he had to settle the arrangements for the new school dormitory. Lastly, he would have to bring Locke into the king's palace for the award ceremony.

Realizing that he had many things to do, he scratched his head with both hands and quickly walked toward the dean's office.

However, things were not that simple.

The king's chief mage quickly arrived at the academy. After some investigation, he realized that no one here knew what had happened. Everyone was so immersed in the beautiful piece of music that they weren't aware of anything else that had gone down. They had only regained consciousness after the beautiful music had stopped.

This made it very difficult for the king's chief mage because he would not be able to explain the situation to the king when he returned. Thus, he made his way to the dean's office.

When he arrived there, he overheard the conversation between Locke's mentor and the dean.

"Dean! Reynolds Locke successfully hatched a white baby dragon! It's a young dragon that has never appeared before in history!"

However, that was not what the dean was concerned about. He had just come back to his senses from Locke's music. Surprised, he asked, "Was that beautiful music the awakening melody that hatched the dragon egg?"

The teacher nodded and praised, "The melody of this music is amazing! I've never heard such music in my life!"

The academy dean immediately stood up and said to the mentor, "Where is Locke now?"

Seeing how anxious the dean was, the mentor immediately prepared to bring the dean to the dining hall. Just as he stepped through the door, he ran into Aldrich Clifford, the king's chief mage.
