Chapter 25 - Hearty Beef and Cheese Crescent Pie

■1 1/4 lb Ground beef

■1/3 cup chopped onion

■1/4 cup chopped green pepper

■8oz. tomato sauce with mushrooms (unless you'd rather make your own.)

■1/4 tsp garlic salt

■1/4 tsp salt

■8 oz Crescent rolls pack. (unless you'd rather make your own)

■1 egg

■2 cups shredded cheese.

Preheat oven to 350. fry beef with peppers, drain. stir in tomato sauce, garlic and salts.

Use ungreased 9in pan. If done in a loaf pan, a top crust can even be made with leftovers but its a little taller.

Mix Egg and cheese together, with the crescent rolls seamed together like a crust, spread the cheese and egg mixture on the bottom over the crust, then, pour skillet contents in (drained).

Bake for 20-25 minutes, allow 5 min to cool.
