Nayel Jefferson is a 36-year-old lawyer who is head of his own successful Law Firm, Jefferson Legal Co. Nayel is arrogant, entitled, snobby, and rude all of which are things Maria cannot stand.
She has been his assistant for a year and every day is worse than the next. Nayel doesn't like her optimism and people-pleasing attitude, Maria can't handle his arrogance and dislike for people.
