The world isn't what it seems like it is. That's what I have learned as a young child. Hi, I'm Diona, and you should know that life is always not what you think it is. Well, that's what I have experienced as a young child.
It started back in China when I was 6.
"Diona dear, could you go get me some tomatoes in the garden?" My mother, Aria, yelled from the kitchen. I was bored, sitting on my bed, so I decided to do what my mother said. I ran downstairs and skipped happily to the garden. As soon as I arrived at the door, I saw my sister, Keqing, watering the plants.
"Diona, what are you doing? Why are you here?" She questioned me with a puzzled look on her face. I don't know why she was confused, but I just told her that mum told me to get tomatoes for her. Christine grabbed a basket and gently picked the tomatoes so that they wouldn't pop open. Her pale and soft hands gave me the basket, and my tiny fingers carried the basket to the kitchen.
"Mama, I brought you tomatoes," I told my mum as my blank eyes stared up at her.
"Thank you, Diona. You are accommodating around the house." My mum said as she picked up the basket with one hand and patted me gently on the head with the other hand. I ran back upstairs since I had nothing to do now. Dad, Anthony, was outgoing to Australia; apparently, gold mines were found there. I'm not sure how the outer world was like back when I was 6 since my mother never let me go outside. Inside the house, though, everything seemed so peaceful and quiet. Although my family was broke, everything seemed to be going fine for us until the next day.
