"Hey, Granny!" Sin cheerfully greeted the old lady as soon as he entered the room, and both Simca and Robin smiled at him.
"Welcome back." The younger Black greeted her brother as he walked over to plant a kiss on her head.
Sin then took his seat by her side and looked at Tsuru, who had her eyes closed and was sipping on her tea.
"You found some new crewmembers." She said and opened her eyes. "And two of them are quite strong."
"Not all of those people are Pirates." He informed her. "As for the two, the stronger one is Yamato, and the other is Lily, who is a Giantess."
"Stole her from Elbaf?" She curiously asked, and he laughed at her words.
"I was in New World, yes, but no, I did not go to Elbaf."
Tsuru nodded to him and sipped on her tea.
"We received a report that you were present on Broc Coli Island. That place is near Big Mom's territory." She smiled. "The Fleet Admiral was sweating when he read that report."
"Ahahaha..." He shook his head. "I was not there to cause trouble."
"What about the two kids and an old Scientist."
"His name is Wolf." He nodded to her. "He will help us develop sustainable crops on Winterheim."
"Oh." She surprisedly looked at him.
"I am sure you have already looked into him."
"We did." Tsuru did not deny it. "He's a former Pirate."
"No. He was just on a ship with his son, who was a Pirate. He is an Engineer and a Scientist."
"I see."
"What brought you here?" He curiously asked and raised his brow when Tsuru sighed.
"Your Queen has refused to pay the Heavenly Tribute of this year. It has gotten Sengoku very restless."
"Did she? Good. We won't be paying any Tribute to the biggest scums of this world." He grinned, much to Simca's horror, and Tsuru sighed again.
"Thought so. And what message do you have?"
"I am a Warlord. Why do I need to pay Heavenly Tribute when I already help the Government deal with Pirates and Criminals?" He smiled. "If you want a Heavenly Tribute, I will pay you in bodies of Slavers and Pirates."
"Yeah, Sengoku's not going to like this answer. But I suppose it is acceptable enough. I will deal with it." She nodded, and he grinned at her. "Just don't go around targeting Slavers too much. It will create a lot of problems for us and you."
"I try to be mindful of my actions."
"You do?" She playfully looked at him, and he flashed his brightest smile at her. "Kalifa has been pushing for a transfer to Arabasta."
"She doesn't like the cold?" He chuckled, and Simca giggled at his words.
"Funnily enough, that's what her official excuse is." Tsuru smiled. "Denied, of course."
Sin nodded to her and then smiled at Simca.
"How's Arabasta?"
"It's a beautiful country. I am enjoying my time here." She told him. "Are you going to attend the Reverie this fall? Winterheim has been invited."
"Yes." He nodded to her. "You have been training."
"Your family has rubbed off on me." She honestly but playfully said, and both the Blacks smiled at her.
"I am here for a personal favour too." Tsuru suddenly said, surprising both Sin and Robin and catching their attention.
"Yes?"
"Simca has been deemed as a Potential future Vice-Admiral, and the Marines want to focus on her growth. They are searching for a suitable Devil Fruit for her since she does not possess one."
"I thought it was a matter of choice?" Robin curiously asked.
"It is." Simca nodded to her. "I want one, and I mentioned it on File, which is why they are searching for it."
"You want me to help you find a suitable Devil Fruit for her?" Sin asked, and Tsuru nodded her head. "The government will pay you for it if you do find one that she takes a liking to."
"I see." He nodded but heard the Old Lady speak again.
"Actually, I want you to help me find two."
"Who is going to get the second?" He raised his brow.
"My granddaughter."
Sin looked at her in surprise, and she smiled at him.
"Her name is Kujaku, and she's recently been promoted to the position of Commodore. She will join my ship from next month."
"Why am I not surprised? You forced your granddaughter to become a Marine..."
"Hey! Kujaku always wanted to become a Marine. She has always admired Lady Tsuru." Simca told him, sounding a little upset, and Tsuru just smiled at his words.
"So, will you help us?"
"Since it is a personal request, of course, I will." He nodded. "What do you want though? Give me an idea." He turned to look at the lemon-haired girl and asked. "Logia? Zoan? Paramecia?"
"I don't want a Logia or a Zoan." She shook her head.
"Paramecia then." He nodded.
"Yes. And I want it to be something exciting. Doesn't have to be too powerful. As long as it is versatile and exciting enough, I will be happy with it."
There was a childlike smile on her face as she talked about it, and they all could see that she truly wanted something fun and had always desired it.
"And Kujaku? What does she want?"
"Something versatile and powerful. She's fine with a Paramecia or a Logia, but doesn't want a Zoan."
"Oh." He smiled. "How powerful?"
"The more the merrier." She smiled back at him. "She wants to become an Admiral in the future."
Sin nodded to her and then met Simca's eyes.
"I have something on me that might interest you." He said to her, and she surprisedly looked at him.
"Which Fruit?"
"It isn't listed in the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia, but I know what it does. Let's call it Swap Swap Fruit." He smiled. "It allows you to Swap places with anything, people or objects. But you have to have touched that person or the object before to mark them and they need to be in your sight. If you are not directly touching them but have marked them before and they are in your sight, you just need to snap your fingers to swap them. You can also swap people other than you, or things. For example, you can swap your clothes with another set without needing to take off and put the new ones on. Just a touch and it will be done." As she listened to his words, he sensed the excitement bubble up in her heart. "There's more. It works on intangible things too." He smiled.
"How?"
"You can swap your pain and give it to someone else, you can do the same with your stamina. However, you have to be directly in contact with the person or people to do it. That's all I know about it, but I must warn you, it is a very dangerous ability. Don't ever try to swap your personality or memories with another person, not even as a test. The last thing you would want is another person inside your body with your powers, and no way to get it back."
Simca looked at him in shock now, and it was the same for Tsuru.
"Where did you find this Fruit?" The Great Staff Officer realised that it was an extremely special Devil Fruit, and she also felt a little warm in her heart that he was willing to give it away. "It would be a great boon to anyone on your crew." She reminded him.
"Of course, it will. But Simca can have it if she's looking for something exciting and versatile."
"It's too strong!" The lemon-haired girl said, but he could sense the anticipation in her heart.
"Do you want it or not?" He asked, and she glanced at Tsuru before nodding to her.
"I want it."
"It's yours then." Sin smiled at her and watched her eyes come a little misty. "It's not free, of course. The Marines will have to pay me 600 Million Berries for it."
"Acceptable." Tsuru nodded to him before Simca could respond. She knew that Sin would even give the Devil Fruit to Simca for free, but he just wanted to make the Marines pay for it, which was fine.
"As for your Granddaughter, I have another Fruit. A truly powerful Paramecia."
Tsuru raised raised her brow at him, and he smiled at her.
"Do you think she would like the power to potentially shatter Islands?" He smiled.
"You have the Shatter Shatter Fruit?" Her eyes widened as she recalled a name from the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia.
"Yes. It will cost the Marines 1.2 Billion Berries."
Silence reigned in the room after his words.
Neither Simca nor Tsuru were shocked at the price that he had named. They were shocked at the fact that he had two extremely powerful and versatile Devil Fruit.
"But would the Marines let your granddaughter have the Shatter Shatter Fruit?" Robin frowned and asked, and Tsuru shook her head.
"They will likely give it to someone else whom they deem a better prospect." She honestly replied.
"In that case, you can let them know that I will not be selling it unless they give me 12 Billion Berries for it." He lightly said. "I already have a few customers for it."
"You would never sell it." Tsuru immediately shook her head.
"But they don't know that do they? I am pretty sure they wouldn't want someone on my crew to have such an outrageous ability either." He meaningfully said, and Tsuru smiled as she saw through his intentions.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome, Granny!" He smiled at her. "You owe me a game of chess."
His words made her laugh and then she started chatting with him about miscellaneous things. It was a chat that a grandma would have with her grandson.
