I opened the door to the small room. Somewhat unexpectedly, Edwin and Bessy were sitting in the room, waiting for me. I could already imagine that they were frightened by the notification.
Bessy, as usual, didn't give me a pleasant look. When she saw me come in, she rolled her eyes openly.
Edwin sat at my desk. His expression was dark, but in the next moment, he suddenly stood up and gave me a smile. "I really made the right decision. I was really surprised by today's incident."
He approached me and whispered, "There's no one here. Tell me, are you here to learn? Don't worry, I won't tell anyone. I'll definitely cooperate with you."
I knew that he must have thought that I was one of the President's relatives. The way he spoke was similar to the way that those middle-aged men at parties would speak. They would brag and at the same time, try to dig information out of me.
Instead of rushing to answer him, I went back to sit in my seat.
