"What happened to you?"
I jumped, subsequently realizing that it was Andrew who had spoken.
"Did I scare you?" Andrew asked worriedly.
I quickly shook my head. "No, you didn't. I was thinking about work and was too engrossed in it."
"Really?"
"Oh, of course."
All of a sudden, I felt dizzy and couldn't stand properly. I just fell down like that.
"Emma!" I heard a cry. The next moment, I fell into an embrace. My body felt like it had been drained of all energy. I felt as if my soul had left my body, it was so uncomfortable and I felt as if I was in a void. Only after two or three seconds then my vision gradually cleared up.
"Emma?" It's Andrew's voice. His face appeared in my pupils and it was only then that I realized I had fallen to the ground, and he had crouched down to grab hold of me.
