Sabrina has explained to Kavan about the dragon marriage, immortality, the reproductive system of dragon shapeshifters, the fate of dragon children and of course, about orgies. She asked Kavan again if he is willing to become immortal and spend the rest of eternity with her as her husband.
"Kav? Do you want to marry me under the dragon way? Be an immortal with me?" she had asked.
Kavan stopped pacing and looked at her.
"Do you need the answer now?" he asked in return.
"Yes, Dr Kaito is arranging for his clan elders to come solemnise our marriage if you agree to it so I need to give him an answer soon," she said.
He nodded. He sat down on the edge of the bed and sighed.
"It looks like I don't have much of a choice anyway. I don't want to leave you Sabrina and I suppose immortality is not all that bad, right?" he said.
