Dashen and Meera found Sabrina on the deck of the cruise liner while she was trying to reach out to Dr Kaito. They soon found out that Dr Kaito is unconscious due to a demon attack. Dashen had immediately rushed back to the Sea Jade Palace to report on the demon attack and to find out what was going on, leaving Sabrina and Meera alone.
Meera told Sabrina that her clan's council of elders is undergoing a reshuffle and changes being led by Dashen who is acting as the head council for now while Ong Shen has been out of commission for a while. As they were talking about the council of elders, Kavan came looking for Sabrina.
"There you are….oh…you are….Meera right?" he said when he saw Meera with Sabrina. Noticing their expression, he came over and placed a hand on Sabrina's back.
"Is something wrong?" he asked. Sabrina explained the situation to him.
