"What if this could be the only chance, we got to get them home?! I want my parents back and if they got to get that thing here for a stupid chess game let them!" I yell back, throwing my arms into the air.
"Have you lost your mind?!" He shouts back, falling back in the chair a look between anger and exhaustion crosses his face. "Kid you shouldn't be dealing with a foggy head. What if they were lying?"
"And what if they weren't we don't know?" Letting out an agitated breath, I cross the room to the bed. Taking a seat, we glare each other down for a good minute or two before he breaks away.
"Why the hell you got to be so stubborn?"
"Learned from the best."
"Snarky shit…" He remarks, that bring a chuckle from my lips as tap my foot in the air.
"Look if this doesn't work you get kick my butt ten ways till next Sunday. But if I get this right. For once. Let's just go home…"
After a long pause he nods. Getting up from the chair and making his way over to where I was sitting. Opening his arms, I get up to hug him.
"So, what are going to do now?" I ask as soon as he lets me go, a nurse finally walking into the room wide eyed.
"What happened?" She questions, looking between us. Uncle shakes his head as I shrug my shoulders.
"Busy night…"
