I have a story to tell you. It might sound creepy so get your popcorn and your drink and try not to spill either of them. It all began when I just turned ten years old. My dad was always working and my mom passed when I was just a newborn, so I would spend my days hanging with my grandma. She would sing with me and make her special cookies. She would also tell me stories about her days as a young girl. She used to tell me how sometimes supernatural things used to happen to her when she got to the age of sixteen. She told me that it runs in our family. I didn't really believe her because it all sounded foolish and impossible, but now I wish I had listened. If I had listened I could have prevented what happened.
It is now October 31,2019 and I just turned sixteen. I was getting ready to make an amazing entrance at my sweet 16 and may I add that I was really excited. That day I woke up to seeing glances of people, but then when I looked back there was nothing. I thought I was just paranoid, so I finished getting ready. After doing my hair and makeup, I put my dress and shoes on. I headed down stairs to hop in the limo and we went on our way to the building for my sweet 16. It was magical and fun like I always imagined, but what light brings there is always darkness right behind it. That same figure I thought I had seen that morning, I had seen again near my grandma. I had gotten so scared that I ran towards my grandma to stop the figure. To my surprise the figure had disappeared. I was so shocked that I didn't notice that my grandmother was on the floor heaving and grabbing her chest. I had snapped out of my trance just in time. I pulled her in my arms and started screaming. The ambulance was called and she was brought to the hospital. When I went to visit her they told me that they couldn't save her. She died of a severe heart attack. They told us that she has been suffering with this for years and that if she would have come to them sooner they could have saved her.
Everyone was crying on the way home whispering to themselves "Why lord, why her? Why now?" At that moment I thought I saw a glimpse of my grandma sitting next to me in the mirror. I looked next to me and it was just my sister in her car seat. That's not the only thing I have been seeing. While we were riding home I was looking out the window and a mist of what looked like my mom from the pictures kept appearing and disappearing. When we got home I went straight into my room and got ready for bed. I went straight to sleep after that.
