Ace's POV
I received an invitation from a member of the "S.G.F.C" which stands for "Straight Guys Fudanshi Club". Paano kaya niya nalaman and why did they invited me? I mean yes I'd like to be part of this group but suddenly someone invited me? Sounds sus but I guess it's fine.
Binasa ko ang mga rules and I think rules from this club is really strict but fair enough for all the members.
Here are the rules.
Number 1, "This is strictly for all straight guys who are "Fudanshi" at heart." Yes I think that's why the group is called "Straight Guys Fudanshi Club" duh!
Number 2, "If you are not a straight guy... please leave this group immediately." Okay, I mean it's their rules and anybody can hide their sexual preferences so I think pwedeng hindi masunod 'to. But what else could go wrong?
Number 3, "Your profile/information will be highly confidential and any member who will expose this group will receive the highest punishment." This is the rule that I liked the most. But ano kaya ang punishment?
Number 4, "No dating and no one shall ever fall in love with another member." This rule is really outrageous. Bakit kami makikipag date if we're all straight, unless someone is hiding their true intensions? But not me, I came here just for the updates and to make friends with all the others na may same interest as I do.
Number 5 and last rule, "Enjoy and have fun!" well ito naman talaga ang gusto ko.
Since I'm the newest member, I checked all the members dito sa group na ito and we are only 10. Yes, just 10 of us including me and tiningnan ko lahat ng members but I don't know anyone, so I guess it's fine?
The name of creator of this group is Rence Valdez. I checked his profile and I think he is straight. Well, tiningnan ko and what he likes most is sports like basketball, baseball, soccer, football and even MMA. He is even into cars and he has a girlfriend? Wow! He is a Fudanshi and at the same time may girlfriend siya, alam kaya nung G.F. niya? But I think it's none of my business kasi hindi ko naman siya kilala. Well, eventually maybe makikilala ko siya since he is the creator.
I checked who added me sa group na ito and his name is Jeffrey Reyes. Tiningnan ko rin ang profile niya and yes he is good looking and the usual dream guy which is tall, dark, and handsome. Also he is into sports and I guess he is a writer since may nakalagay sa bio niya about his works. I don't know why he added me but thanks to him dahil I was looking for this group for so long and he added me.
"Let's welcome our newest member, Martin Ace Lopez! Hope that you'll enjoy your stay here." post ng creator na si Rence from the group's feed.
"Thank you for inviting me! And thank you kay Jeffrey as well" I replied and he liked my post right away.
"My pleasure." Jeffrey replied.
I checked the past and previous posts dito sa group and It was outrageous! Sobrang daming posts about yaoi and BL at 'yung ibang posts sobrang explicit but not to the point that it looks like a porn. I mean for me, there's a difference between a scene on a yaoi manga or anime rather than that of a porn.
Marami rin akong nakitang mga manga and anime na dapat ko pang mabasa at mapanood and I think it will take a lifetime bago ko sila matapos sa sobrang dami ng recommendations which I really like!
This group is like a yaoi haven for me and for all of these guys.
While I was checking out other stuff sa group's feed, Jeffrey added me sa kanilang G.C. which is okay for me since makakausap ko sila ng mas maayos.
Jeffrey added Ace into the meeting.
Ace: Hi guys! Nice to meet you again!
Jeffrey: Ito pala 'yung official G.C. natin, Ace. If may gusto kang i-share or would like to say, you can ping us anytime here.
Ace: Oh! Nice! Thank you ulit!
Rence: Oo nga pala, Ace, since you're new here, can you please introduce yourself para makilala ka pa ng iba nating members.
Ace: Sure! Well, I'm Martin Ace, but you can call me Ace for short, or Martin, I don't mind anything will do. Haha! I guess I just became a Fundashi just a month ago dahil sa isang page ng manga.
Rence: What manga? Haha!
Ace: I guess you know it already. The Titan's Bride. I mean ibabalik ko na dapat siya sa shelf but it slipped through my hands and boom! Lumitaw 'yung isang scene where they were doing some explicit scene sa labas just beside the wall and after that... I can't stop myself anymore.
Jeffrey: Hahaha! Dahil lang sa isang page ng manga?
Ace: Yes! Sobrang unexpected talaga but I guess wala na akong magagawa since I've already turned into a Fudanshi.
Rence: Don't worry, Ace, no one will judge you here since I know what are your sentiments and one of them is being stereotyped as gay or being into guys.
Ace: Yes! That's my biggest problem. And the other one, buying yaoi manga sa mga bookstore. Hahaha!
Jeffrey: I can feel you! Haha! Lalo na kapag nakita nung nasa cashier 'yung manga na binili and bigla na lang sila ngingiti and nasa isip mo na baka na-judged ka na sa utak nila.
Ace: Yes! Same thoughts! I mean hindi naman siguro 'yun maiiwasan, right?
Rence: Oo, so here we are and that's why I created this group and I know that I'm not the only one.
Ace: Curious lang ako. How did you know that I was into this stuff?
Jeffrey: Malalaman mo din soon. Haha!
Ace: Haha! Sana malapit na 'yung soon na 'yun coz I'm really curious how I ended up here. By the way, where are the others pala? It's like we're just the three of us here.
Rence: Maybe busy pa sila siguro, but later or maybe tomorrow, magugulat ka na lang dahil bigla sila mag-iingay. Haha!
Ace: Okay, thanks ulit! And I have to get ready for sleep. May class pa tomorrow. Haha!
Rence: Good night!
Jeffrey: Good Night!
Pagkatapos ko sila kausapin sa G.C. I started talking to Harry and Chester about this group. Although I know it's their rules na bawal i-expose but I think hindi naman mag-iingay 'yung dalawa kong friends since hindi naman sila katulad ko.
"Harry, Chester, guess what? I was invited sa isang group ng mga Fudanshi who are straight guys just like me!"
"Ah 'yung mga mahihilig sa mga binabasa mo? 'Yung mga BxB na manga?" Harry said while he was playing a game on his phone.
"Meaning may mga katulad ka na mahilig sa mga ganyang stuff?" Chester added while he's playing with Harry.
"Oo, pero I don't know kung paano nila nalaman na I was into kind of this stuff. Though hindi nila sinabi but nevermind." sinabi ko sa kanila while I'm looking at them and they are sitting on the floor and magkaharap silang dalawa.
"Hindi kaya spy 'yang mga 'yan? Paano naman nila malalaman na mahilig ka sa mga yaoi kung sa amin nga hindi mo sinasabi 'di ba?" hirit ni Harry.
"Oo nga, Ace. Parang suspicious masyado? Siguro mayroon kang kakilala doon and na-invite ka?" Chester added.
"Wala naman ako nakitang mutual friend doon and I even checked their profile, unless dummy account ang gamit nila?" I answered.
"Yeah, suspicious nga. I think mayroon diyan na kilala ka in person or baka sinusundan ka kasi impossible na bigla ka na lang i-invite. Sino ba nag-invite sa'yo?" Harry asked.
"His name is Jeffrey Reyes. Baka may kilala kayo?" I asked pero parehas silang umiling so meaning they don't know him.
"Patingin nga profile?" Chester asked.
I showed them Jeffrey's picture and they were both shocked.
"Seryoso 'to? Itong lalaki na 'to mahilig magbasa ng yaoi? Dude! Like WTF! Ang layo sa itsura niya! Mukha siyang siga na bad boy na sobrang straight na iisipin mo, puro lang kalokohan at sports ang alam. Totoo ba 'to?" Chester said.
"Hindi kaya... may gusto sa'yo 'to, Ace?" Harry asked while his eyes were squinting.
"I think wala siyang gusto sa akin since we are all straight guys sa group na 'yun." I answered.
"Pero hindi rin natin masabi, unless makilala mo siya in person. May mga pinsan ako na sobrang maton nila tingnan and parang pumuputok na 'yung muscles nila sa katawan pero gay pala." Harry said.
"Kung may gusto siya sa akin, well, that's his problem since may rule na bawal ma-fall sa members ng group and may punishment. I don't know what the punishment is but ang pinunta ko lang doon is all about yaoi and BL." I answered and afterwards natulog na ako and hinayaan ko na maglaro sina Harry and Chester to give them their moment.
The next day, I was still intrigued who this Jeffrey Reyes person was. Hindi ako nakinig sa class namin the whole day but I was chatting along with the other members of the S.G.F.C. group and I had so much fun. They even shared their own experiences sa kung paano sila naging Fudanshi.
There's this one guy na sobra akong natawa sa experience niya and it was so funny! The guy's name is Henry and sabi niya, he was 16 years old back then when he went to his older brother's room para manghiram ng manga. Dahil daw wala pa 'yung kuya niya, siya 'yung naghanap ng manga instead and ang nakita niya ay isang yaoi manga na he did not expected na mayroon ang older brother niya. Binasa daw niya and he literally came in without doing any "job" I mean hands-free! Haha! After that, he became interested but he still is a straight guy since sabi niya never siya na in-love sa lalaki and all his past and current relationship are all girls. I guess mayroon talaga kaming different experiences and how we became a Fudanshi.
While I was reading and chatting with my co-members, hindi ko na-realized na tapos na pala ang class namin that day pero tuloy pa rin ako sa pakikipag-usap sa ibang members ng group dahil sobra akong nag-eenjoy, when suddenly, there's a girl at my back who was reading and whispering the messages na nababasa niya sa G.C. namin.
Napatingin ako sa kanya and I was like, W.T.F.! Tara, who is my seatmate sa classroom, was reading the entire conversation of me and the other members. My eyes were widely open dahil may nakahuli sa akin na hindi ko sinasadya.
"Ace, I didn't know na isa kang... Fudan—" Tara said pero hindi niya natuloy dahil tinakpan ko agad ang bibig niya.
"Wag mo na ituloy, Tara, pretend like wala kang nabasa and don't tell this to anyone!" I whispered.
Tara removed my hand and she laughed, "Ano ka ba, Ace! Don't worry, I'm just like you! I'm a Fujoshi at heart, mind and soul!"
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko and I was so happy dahil I have a friend, at least one friend that I'm close with na makakausap ko sa mga ganitong bagay.
"Pero I didn't know na you were into kind of this stuff, Ace!" Tara said.
"Yeah, last month lang ako na-hilig." I said and I paused. I was waiting for her to say the "magic word".
After 5 seconds, nakangiti pa rin si Tara and I was expecting na she'll say that I'm gay or into guys so ako na ang nagtanong, "Wala ka bang ibang sasabihin?"
"Like what?" pagtataka ni Tara.
"Like I'm gay and I'm into guys now and you thought that I was straight and all?"
"Silly! No! I have a brother, an older brother na katulad mo. He is straight and he is a Fudanshi. Well, ako ang nag-udyok sa kanya, kasi he is a writer and I want him to write BL stories since ang mga sinusulat niya is purely fantasy, thriller and other straight stuff! So I asked him why not try to dig deep sa yaoi and BL genre. And there he is, mas adik pa siya sa akin."
I have this feeling na baka kilala ko ang kuya niya since she said that her brother is a writer and a Fudanshi, a straight Fudanshi to be exact. Pero Tara's last name is NOT Reyes so baka iba 'yung iniisip ko and hindi ito si Jeffrey.
"I don't know if kilala mo siya, but his name is Jeffrey Reyes. Well, technicially, he's my step brother. I know that G.C. and nandyan din siya since he said na may ininvite siyang bagong member na he is very interested with and gusto niya maging inspiration as his main character sa ginagawa niyang BL novel." Tara said.
I was so shocked to the point na ang masasabi ko na lang na ang liit ng mundo!
