Curt chased Kate to the Airport where she was going to board a plane to England, she didn't show up earlier at his graduation because she was mad at him, because he and Trixie caught her hugging, no, only the girl hugged him, that's right Kate's couldn't stand it anymore, she immediately turned around and left, they talked about meeting at the basketball court where he would play with his school teammates, she was supposed to watch him play but that's what happened to him, since then she's gone it talks. When he arrived at the airport, he immediately entered the departure area, he thankful and it was not difficult for him to see Kate, and he was embarrassed because it looked like she had no intention of returning to the Philippines with her three large pieces of luggage. "Nessah!" he called out loudly because she was about to go inside and he couldn't be there anymore. She turned around and looked at him with a frown. "Just a moment! let's talk please!.." he begged.
She gave way to the passengers behind her in line and pulled her cart back to where he was standing.
"CG I'm going to miss my flight because of what you're doing! What else do you need from me? You've already hurt me, I'm still holding on to your promises to me but you're breaking them too." Kate said as she approached the young man.
"Aren't you going to listen to my explanation, Nessah? Are you just going to leave me? and with what you're carrying, you have no intention of coming back here, you're just going to leave without an explanation and I can guarantee that you'll come back to me?" he said sadly.
"I don't know CG!, maybe don't wait for me, the truth is I'm not mad at you anymore, but I need to get away first so I can be more sure of my feelings for you.
On that day, Court did nothing but hug the girl tightly and he honestly promised that he would wait for her to return to the Philippines.
Five years passed by, Bainessah return to the Philippines.
Bainessah ENTERS a bookstore. Her hair was tied in a bun. It had come out of the gathering and was about to sag on the side of her face but she let it go. She was about to go to the Literature section when the cell phone in her bag rang. She bent down to open the bag and take the phone while still taking big steps. Bending over, she bumped into the side of a large body. "Sorry," she said without looking at the person who crashed before turning away and going to a corner to answer the call. Jena, her friend is calling. The call ended quickly. Bainessah put the cell phone back in the bag and went to the target book. She immediately got what she wanted. After that she was even enticed to read teasers of books on the bestseller list. The ones that she likes she also closes her eyes to buy. She will dig those books in Singapore for a three-day business conference where she and Jena were among their company's representatives. Their flight is next week. "Bainessah Kate?!" said a woman. Is it me who is called? Bai asked herself. She lifted her head to look at the source of the voice. She saw a woman with a wide smile as she approached where she was. It's a brunette and the beauty used to be strange. It looks like it came out of the pages of Vogue magazines. I feel like I know her, she thought. She wondered for a moment if she knew the girl.
"Kate? It's you! Hey, you don't know me, what?" it said laughing. "I'm Daisy. I'm your high school classmate, what are you?" Kate's lips parted surprise.
"Daisy?" Is this Daisy? Her high school classmate who supposedly possesses exotic beauty? Oh, well, that's just a fancy name from her mischievous classmates. But look at her now. It appeared beautiful. It's not just appearance, it's attention. Just for real. Daisy resembles the black beauties she saw as contestants in the past Miss Universe pageants. Although she used to be aloof and had her own world, Daisy was also one of those she interacted with when she was in US. There were five of them in the group; her, Daisy, Danica, Ariana, and Ynella. In fact, She has no news about them. After graduation, they went their separate ways. And because She was aloof and lonely, she didn't have a deep attachment to her friends so maybe she didn't miss them either. Bainessah then meets Jena at her workplace her best friend.
"Sorry, I didn't recognize you right away," she said. Both held back their screams as they hugged each other. She also immediately separated and observed the entirety of it. "Wow. I can't say anything. You look so beautiful and stunning, no doubt!"
"I didn't think it was good either," the woman replied, giggling.
Bainessah couldn't stop giggling either. Who would have thought that time would shape the beauty of a friend? It can be compared to the mocking story of an ugly duckling who became a beautiful swan.
"Oh!" Daisy squealed as she probably remembered something important. "Guess who's about to get married..." Her eyebrows rose slightly.
Daisy's eyes were shining and the happiness was undeniable, it was definitely radiating all over her aura. She reluctantly searched for her ring finger. Daisy didn't seem to have any intention of hiding the ring finger so she immediately saw the ring shining there. The diamond in it was glittery and sparkling, like her eyes.
"Are you getting married?"
"Yes! And you're invited!"
"Of course I don't miss it!.. Congratulation!"
"So see you there?!!.. I want to talk to you more but I have to go, my hubby to be was waiting me outside. Daisy winked to Bainessah and wave as she said goodbye. Kate wave as well.
