Shinsuke had long suspected it. In fact, Masaru had confessed openly that he was the killer a few days ago. However, Shinsuke thought it was just a joke.
Shinsuke made it to the top of the building. He saw Masaru lying on the floor looking up at the wide sky. He used both hands as pillows.
