*Well, if I was to be really honest. I had really missed seeing Kyle, and writing about him had giving me some certain peace for real (ب_ب) Anyway, I'm sorry I had not updated all this time, really sorry*

Briar's funeral had been small.
Simple.
Subtle.
Just as Raven knew she would want.
They decided to cremate her, because Elle didn't want to see her, with her rotting skin due to the poison from the Silver.
Elle on the other hand, was quiet now.
And it killed Raven.
The ever jumpy and loud pup refused to talk to anyone that wasn't Rin or Raven and would not even leave her room.
Yet, Raven did not let her pain show.
She buried herself into work as soon as she became the next Alpha, making sure to banish the Challenge of a nonsense first.
Of course all the Elders whined about it being 'the' way but Raven didn't even let them complete it.
Briar had died because of the stupid thing in the first place and one of them were even the cause of it.
And the more she buried herself into work, the more she tried to forget Axel.
It didn't work.
She would imagine him telling her she was stressing too much, probably try to make her smile as she always did.
Raven could not even remember when last she smiled and it wasn't forced or a sad smile.
She could even barely sit with Rin anymore as she was always occupied with one thing or the other with Father or the Elders.
And when the pregnancy actually began to peek out, Annabelle begged her to go on a break, but Raven would not hear of it.
Going on a break meant leaving work over to her Beta which Raven apparently did not have.
Sirius was AWOL.
And Rin would break under pressure, plus, no would listen to an omega.
So she didn't take a break.
Not until she heard a human was breaching the borders.
A human that smelled like Axel nonetheless.
Seeing the male had brought back memories of that night Raven was not sure she wanted to remember, but she did, either way, and found him amusing.... Perhaps the same way she found Rin, except he was more exotic.
Now....
"So you are meeting this human yes?" Mother asked.
Raven kept staring at the scrolls infront of her "Mother, are you aware that there is a treaty that needed to be signed between some young ones and the pups? For some reason, they want to teach the little one certain things and I need to be there to watch"
"It's good" She replied "You get to see how to handle babies first hand. How is the little one anyway?"
Raven sighed "Mother, you can stop asking now. You've asked like ten times already"
"I keep asking cause you're not even letting yourself rest! For heavens sake you're pregnant! And at a young age too!" She yelled "Do you know what it means to carry a pup? You're carrying an ever hungry animal"
Raven looked up at her "Do you suppose he'd eat me?"
Annabelle sighed "I am being serious"
Raven smiled "It's just so nice to see you worked up for the first time. You're always so prim and proper"
For the first time that day, Annabelle's frantic eyes dilated as she began to rub her temples, a small smile on her lips "It's just.... You're a hard one Ravenna. I am going to be a grandmother and I wasn't warned. I don't even know how to start"
"You can start by getting me another cupcake or maybe baking me a whole cake"
"You need to eat real food. Meat
A lot of meat"
Raven sighed and looked back at the paper "And maybe wine. Staring at this papers all day is making me so dizzy"
"Take a break snowflakes" Annabelle said, walking to the table "Go talk to that human about Axel. Do you not miss him?"
"It's obvious I do and I wouldn't lie about it" Raven said, looking up at her "It's just.... He hasn't even tried coming back to me"
"He's probably terrified of you"
Raven scoffed "He's the one with terrifying strength. Did you see how he threw Jordan? We still haven't found his body, just a trail of blood. I suppose that means he died somewhere, we need more search parties to...."
"Don't change the topic" Annabelle cut in "Ravenna. I know you are upset, about what Briar did. Everyone is, but she had a choice, she chose to protect you"
"But what about my choice?" Raven asked "I don't want anyone to protect me. I want to protect THEM. She was... Pregnant Mother, and Axel hid that from me"
"She asked him to" Annabelle said "He wouldn't betray anyone. He's your mate. You know how he works"
True.
"Then the name thing?" Raven asked "Axel wouldn't talk about his past with me for safe reasons, he says, but he knew her, he called her Belle"
"Ravenna" Annabelle said "If you knew why he called her Belle, what would happen?"
"Nothing, but...."
"See?" Annabelle cut in "Ravenna.... We, wolves, have more than one mates, because mates are people that are suitable for us, people that can stand is, but people range. Jordan was Briar's mate, but he was possibly the least suitable, though they still matched. You.... You met your perfect Match Ravenna. Perfect. Look at you, you never wanted to be Alpha, wouldn't stop snapping at everyone, until he came. You're nicer.... You're.... You're my little snowflake again"
Raven stared at her Mother for a while, then said "Was Misha's mate not very suitable then?"
Annabelle looked bewildered at the question but she bit her lips and says "One must not have been suitable for the other. Ravenna, what I'm trying to say is.... Don't... Don't let what happened to Misha happen to you. You're not Misha. You're Ravenna. My little baby. The only one I have left, and this baby needs a Father, and face it, Axel is going to be a good Father. It might even make Elle happy to see him"
Raven bit her lower lip and sighed, moving back as she said "He gives me ice cream though. I think I want one now"
"Ice cream?"
Raven only smiled "Just get me the cupcakes mum. I still got work to do"
