The whole day she had spent it in bed, no one coming up to wake her for breakfast or lunch or dinner, something she strongly believed Rin must have made sure no one could or would disturb her.
And for the first time, she was glad.
She didn't want to see anyone, not Rin, or Elle...

But God, it hurt.
She felt the clawing pain in her and sometimes she would scream into her pillow, squeezing herself until she was sure she was nothing but empty outside as she felt inside.
He probably hated her now, she was sure of it.
Though she had not meant one word she had said and had just thought he'd get mad....
God, she didn't know what she expected.
She had just blabbered out all she felt and spat it out.
Now....
At night before she slept, someone had crawl into her bed, and just by the smell, she was sure of who it was.
Gut instinct told her to fight, tell him that he wasn't supposed to be here....
But damn it if she didn't need him.
She had just stayed still until she felt him kiss her temple and say "Good night Princess"
And just like that, she felt all her troubles float away.
The next morning anyway, he was gone.
A pit had formed in her stomach that he had possibly just come to say goodbye and she hugged the pillow that he had slept on, smelling it and crying for possibly the thousandth time before walking out of the room and meeting an empty hall.
Not even a single sound.
She sniffed, knowing she possibly looked like a red puff ball as she walked down the hall barefoot until she smelled it.
Someone was cooking....
And both smelt nice.
Slowly, she walked into the mess hall, which was surprisingly empty and to the kitchen, meeting someone wearing a white polo shirt and blue jeans with black hair and glasses whistling and flipping pancakes.
She gulped "What's... What's going on? And where's everyone?"
As the person turned, she gasped, moving back and hitting the wall as he laughed "Told you to stop moving backwards, you could hurt yourself. Are you okay Apples?"
Her heart sang at the nickname but she didn't show it "What are you still doing here?!"
"Apparently, I realized that you couldn't break my bones unless I let you, which I have been, for the past days and I think it's been really stupid that I never fought back. I would say I don't hit women, but my God, you punch like a gorilla, and I'd definitely punch a gorilla"
"The fuck...."
"Yes, the new look" He cut in with a smile "We are going on a date"
"I'm not going anywhere with you"
"Um" Axel said "I asked your parents for permission and they literally gave me the whole day with you"
"They don't have the rights. Where are they even?" She asked.
He shrugged, turning back to the pancakes "Everyone's out on a date"
"That's.... That's impossible, everyone can't...."
"Jethro ordered it" Axel replied, now putting the pancakes in another plate.
"That.... Did you influence my Father?"
Axel sighed, now settling the spatula he was holding down and turning around.
His bright blue eyes were not bright anymore as he said slowly "I don't go around influence people unless I plan on teaching them a lesson, and you're right, maybe I should start doing that, starting with you, influence you right now to love me, but I'm not doing that, I'm trying to give us a chance, because I.... I've been coming on too hard and that was very wrong. I haven't given you a chance to choose and just kept doing whatever I wanted, please forgive you, but I just... I just want us to have a normal date, like friends going out for a drink and all, I solemnly swear not to say anything that involves me loving you, try to kiss you, compliment your eyes or mention anything about us being Mates through out today if you just agree, please"
He had said that all in one breath.
And Raven....
Raven was.... Bewildered.
He began to breathe in and out as he said "And we met on.... Horrendous terms, so..." He brought out his hand "Hi, my name is Axel. Axel Thorn"
She stared at him, then at the hand.
You don't have to do this, Reina said, I think your reasons for fear were... Okay, he was hiding too much.

She wasn't sure what she should have expected.
But it was not what she had seen.
First, they had breakfast, and he had not even said one word through it all
Then when she got back to her room, a letter slipped under the door, telling her that he was coming to take her for the date in the next hour.
And though she didn't want to care, she panicked.
After bathing (and possibly shaving, yes, she did without knowing why), she stared at wardrobe that had no dress or whatsoever for about thirty minutes until the room door burst open and a red pup ran in, a bouquet of roses in her mouth.
As Elle handed it over to her, she licked Raven's face and ran back off, making the girl laugh before she saw the card and pulled it out.
Flowers, because you're pretty.
It was simple, not long, and not full of the cringe love shits he always said and that...
That made her smile.
Not knowing what to do, she wore a white strapless crop top and black ragged trousers with her black leather jacket over her shoulder as she packed her hair in a bun, her fingers slightly brushing were his name was and walking back outside.
At the hall, she didn't meet him.
She met Rin.
Who was oddly wearing a black tuxedo.
Oddly, she laughed "What in the gods names are you wearing?"
He only gave her a wink, bringing out his arm for her and as she wrapped hers around it, he mind linked her.

She looked up at him, a small smile on her face as she kissed his cheeks "Forgiven"
He blushed, but didn't say anything.
He led her outside and weirdly enough.
There sat a wheelchair at the entrance.
She laughed now as he showed her a blindfold and pointed at the chair.
"Hell no" She said "I'm not riding that thing. Who is pushing? Cause I know you wouldn't want that suit getting dirty"
"You ask too many questions" He said as he turned her around, now putting the blindfold on her eyes "Just roll with it, besides you're laughing. It's pleasing to me Rae"
She blushed but didn't say anything
After leading her to the chair, someone pushed.
And that person (Elle of course but she didn't have to know) was a maniac.
They just kept going over bumps multiple times that Raven was very she she would enter coma, get thrown off and just spasm into the ground until the ride stopped and she felt someone crouch infront of her, and remove the blindfold.
As light flooded into her eyes and she blinked, the first thing she came in contact with was blue eyes.
Bluer than the berries she always tried to find in the woods as a child but never did.
Axel chuckled "She roughened you up, sorry about that"
Then he stood, his hand out "Ready Raven?"
And he was using Raven, not her full name.
She slowly took his hand as he pulled her up and as she adjusted her jacket, brushing off the leaves that fell on it, she felt his hands go to her hair and before she could stop him, he pulled off the band, letting it fall over her face.
"Beautiful" Was all he said then with an additional "Come-on, before we lose our reservations"
