The Diner is now silent and everyone is facing their meal.
Axel on the other hand was making Elle eat her food because the little one had apparently lost her appetite.
And he didn't blame her.
As Raven fumed on the inside, her thoughts were extremely easy to read.
Infact, they literally stabbed at his head.
Every single time we eat must you do this?
Why do I keep coming here anyway?
Who cooks this shit anyway? This chicken is threatening to roll his eyes at me.
He had laughed there, but of course, nothing was funny.
The fact she had even obeyed him, without a single disobedient bone in her body had pleased him exceedingly that he felt like he should reward her with something.
But he didn't know her well.
And that really sucked in it's own way.
"Are you sure we've never met?" Annabelle pressed on.
Jethro sighed "Not now"
She seemed to consider disobeying her husband for just a second, Axel could read her body language but she did not, however, she gave him a small smile and said "It's not always like this. We usually bake cakes for new pack members"
He should have laughed, cause it was funny, but it had happened already.
The first day Misha had introduced him to them.
Yet, Axel gave a small chuckle "I like chocolate"
She nodded, the smile still on her face "Then chocolate you shall have darling. Welcome to the family"
He nodded slightly "Thank you, Luna"
"Anna, dear" She said "It's Anna"

Axel had a strange feeling that Jethro knew more than he was leading and it set him off in a way, but Axel had known the man in the past.
He barely ever made his accusations public.
Whatever he thought about Axel would have to wait.
Infact, Axel recognized everyone on the table, weirdly enough, even the little one, though she had been a baby then.
He had seen her only once, in Anna's arms and wanted to touch her but Misha would not allow it.
What if you touch the baby and I get pregnant? She had said, Would you like that?
His answer had been yes and she had appeared very shocked but they never talked about it again.
Axel smiled at the little one again.
She was like a small replica of Misha to, the hair and eyes, possibly the stubbornness to because the bribe he owed her was something Misha would have wanted.
Yet, he knew she wasn't as shallow underneath.
Or he prayed so.
The only person he did not recognize was the female sitted next to her but he did not say anything about it.
After a while, the noise in the hall had resumed until he felt it.
A very familiar presence he was very sure he wouldn't like.
The person walked to the table and sat beside the female, giving her a small kiss on her temples and facing him "This is the new mate?"
A wife? Axel thought, Well Jordan, did you force this one to love your face?
But Axel smiled "It appears that I am"
Jordan scoffed, now eyeing the mate "You wouldn't last a day"
"Why?"
"You're as skinny as a broom" Jordan replied with a grin "Do you want my food? I can give it to you. I always pity the low classes, I get kind like that"
"You must pity yourself then"
If Jordan was eating, Axel was sure he would have choked but all that happened was his eyes bulging "What?"
Axel was now stirring his food "Let the words slowly sink in. You'd get what I'm saying in possibly an hour or so, since your skull seems to be dense I believe"
No one on the table offered to stop it, and even if they did, Axel wouldn't have listened.
Jordan on the other hand "Who are you to come to my family's table and challenge me?!"
"Now now" Axel said now dabbing his cheeks with a hand towel and standing up "If I challenged you, I doubt the possibilities of you surviving would be limited"
Jordan followed "You arrogant piece of....."
Axel's eyes flashed blue "Stay"
Jordan suddenly froze mid air, and through the veins popping on his forehead, Axel could tell he was trying to fight it, trying to not stay.
Pointless.
The hall was dead silent again as he said "Do not fight it. The more you try, the more you'd become weak, you may even....."
All of a sudden, Jordan coughed out blood, still unmoving, his eyes blaring in rage that made hell look like a little fire while blood simmered down his lips.
Axel winced "Bleed. You broke fast, it seems, well, I must go find my beloved you know, she is very sad at the moment. So sit"
Forcefully, angrily, reluctantly, Jordan began to sit and when he was finally sitted, Axel bent over and patted his head "Good boy"
As he did so, Jordan's thought flashed in his head.
I will kill you!
Axel smiled "I would love to see you try" Then turning around to the Alistair's, Ravens mother gaping and Jethro, looking....
Well, unbothered.
He gave them a small smile "It was nice to meet you, but you must excuse me"
Then he faced Elle "You would find me wherever your Mate is. You understand, little one? I have this strange feeling your sense of smell is impeccable. I shall also be arranging your gift, before then that is"
The little girl nodded.
Then he faced Jordan's wife "I apologise, for the bleeding, I'm still a little rusty"
Finally, he turned around "And Rin?"
The Omega came rushing forward "Y

"Please take me to where my little bird is" Axel said as he turned and began to walk away.
