Her Father's voice had given her a small punishment, though to her, it wasn't so much one, that she was going to be on the Night guard duty for as long as the whole week.
Raven was sitted in Misha's room.
It was still the same way she had left it.
Teddy's strung up all over the bed, silk curtains, a marvelous and expensive wardrobe that was filled with too much colors it reminded of a rainbow and of course.
The pictures.
Raven still wasn't sure how Vanessa had found the camera, because Raven was the one supposed to have had it.
As s child, she had liked to wander off the Pack lines, looking for trinkets and other little things that humans used to have, the camera being one of them.
But one day, she was checking her treasure box, as she did every night and the camera was gone.
The next morning, Misha was showing everyone.
When Raven had summed up courage to talk to her big sister and ask her how she found it, the conversation had gone something like this.
"What do you mean?" The redheaded goddess had stated, green beautiful eyes staring lost at Raven who was extremely short for her age.
She, had been holding a toy, staring at it instead "It's just, it looks like the one I found while I went scavenging and all"
Misha had gasped "You went off the borders alone?"
Ravenna had suddenly realised the implications of the statement as she said "No. No, it wasn't too far.... Don't tell Daddy"
"No of course not Sweetie" Misha said, patting her little sisters head "But you did something bad, and if Daddy finds out, he'd be really mad, you know"
Raven nodded "I know. I'm sorry"
Misha had sighed "I wont tell him you went hunting but you must keep it between us, you know, because you can't trust anyone that isn't ME, and no, it isn't yours, I found it somewhere too"
"Would you tell me where?"
"Nope" Misha said, still flashing her perfect smile "Now go darling, and remember, it stays between us that you found something like this first!"
It had not really surprised Raven that the next day the family took a lot of pictures and nearly forgot to take with her, until Misha of course, reminded them.
And Misha always got away with whatever she wanted, she was the family's red wolf as it was their family's wolf colour.
And Raven was the black one, in every literal way.
Her hand moved to the picture of the two of them on Misha's bedstand as a small smile came on her lips.
Misha was so perfect.....
It ached her, that someone, was the reason she was not here anymore....
No, it killed her.
If Raven knew whoever it was, she would kill him, cause he had caused murder, and he surely as hell deserved it.
She remembered how Misha would come to their room from every little date she went with the boy.
He gave me flowers and a new gift! His Pack is quite far from here so he rarely comes, but when he does, he's just a marvelous being.
It always snows wherever he is, and my gosh, he's so dreamy! You'd like him, I am certain!
He smells like cassia's, the plant? Of course you wouldn't know it, it doesn't even matter anyway.
Then Raven had been a little jealous, just a little, nothing to big, but she was happy too.
Until she found her sister hung on the ceiling fan.
The only one that had ever loved her, until Rin.
As a child, having Rin as a play toy, she didn't like him, because Misha did not like him too.
All this things that can't reach out levels. You understand don't you Raven? That if we don't treat them as little, they would one day believe they are like us and try to overtake us which is impossible! And such a stupid name, what in the gods name is Rae!
Raven had not told her she liked the name to avoid being insulted or poked at.
And though she loved Rin now, very much, she still missed Misha.

And Axel....
God, he was a fool.
She hated him.
Hated the way she always seemed to subconsciously obey his commands, but....
But he made her feel....
Real.
That she existed.
Not like Rin did, though it was oddly the same, but this time, he made her also feel that she could actually have this.... Forever...
And it scared her.
What if... What if she fell too deep and....
Sighing, Raven stood up from the floor, dusting her joggers and setting the frame back on the desk as she walked to her rooms window and opened it.
Down below were people chatting and walking around.
Except two figures caught her eyes.
Frowning, she headed down.

As Raven stormed toward the men, she realized, annoyingly that Axel wasn't like any wolf she had seen.
He wasn't muscular, and his skin wasn't tanned.
He was dangerously tall, and pale, like porcelain china cup pale that seemed glossy and perfect under sunlight and white hair that went all over his eyes, though the blood in them still screamed at her to be noticed.
And he looked perfect.
Resting under a tree shade, hands in his pockets as Rin said something to him as he laughed.
Raven had this strange feeling they were talking about her.
When she finally got to them, Axel's blue eyes sparkled up, literally "Apple, we searched everywhere for you"
If Rin was confused by the name, he did not say so, instead Raven said "What are you both talking about?"
"Rin is just telling me that as a child, you once set the whole hall on fire" Axel said with a laugh "Which is a marvelous story by the way. You're so adventurous my love"
So she was right.
She sent a glare at Rin who was reddening as Axel suddenly pulled her into his body, resting his head on hers.
She fought, struggled infact, but he was stronger, for someone leaner than her and she sighed, cursing before she faced Rin "Betraying me now?"
"I...."
Raven hissed "It doesn't matter. I'd play with you later. Help get his hands off me"
"He wouldn't dare Apple" He said in a sing song voice "He knows what I can do"

Raven faced Rin "What is he talking about?"
"He...."
"Found you!"
Elle was running to them and for a surprising second, Axel let her go, presumably to let her catch the child until Raven realised with shock that the child totally ignored her and bounded into Axel's waiting arms.
He twirled around, laughing as she did so, then hugged her close "Smart girl"
Raven stared at the two people infront of her as Rin said "He's not a wolf"
She turned around to face him "Then what is he? He was affected by the curse too"
"Raven" It shocked her there he had used her real name, as it rarely ever happened as he said "He made Jordan sit just by saying it, and when Jordan tried to struggle against the compulsion, he BLED"
Raven stared, in horror "Is... Is he okay?"
Rin shrugged "I don't know, but whatever Axel is. He's..... He's too powerful to be a wolf"
Raven was still letting the whole thing sink into her head until she felt the hand on her shoulder and jerked, turning around and meeting Axels blue eyes, with an Elle still in his arms "I owed Elle something. Would you like to see?"
Somehow Raven didn't say no, but as they walked away, a dark feeling of fear began to settle in her stomach.
