I hissed angrily. I'll give her credit. The cheetah is a decent fighter. But I'm better.
I returned her shredded ear with an attack of my own. I sprinted forward and dove down sliding past her as I ranked my claws through the side of her pelt, leaving long streaks of blood.
That's payback you fool!
I grinned evilly at her, I really do love a good fight.
She glared back at me favoring her injured side as one of her paws shredded the grass.
"Spot was it?" I meowed, "Separate from your cat and leave, and I won't kill you."
"As if I'd believe that! What else flying sardines!" She dodged another blow of my claws.
I shrugged, "Suit yourself." This time I didn't hold back as I tossed my full weight into her knocking her to the ground.
Then I raised a paw ready to do some serious damage when I heard a shrill cry to my left and glanced over. Jagged had pinned Stripe down.
Seriously Noah! I cursed to myself. If you are going to lose, don't lose to the stupid one!
Keeping him alive is going to be a huge hassle isn't it?
I changed the direction of my swipe and sent Spot flying sideways into Jagged.
The two of them tumbled away and Stripe rose back to his paws.
Now the four of us were staring each other down. Jagged had moved to stand next to me, I really want to punch him again. How much trouble would I get in for killing a teammate? Then again that's only if the others see it right? So how do I not get seen is the question.
The cheetah's paws started glowing and her speed increased two fold. Beside her Stripe's paws turned to flames leaving scorch marks with each of his steps.
Looks like its time to play with magic! Frost started spreading around me again. Jagged, did nothing. I turned to stare at him.
"Yo fleas for brains! Can't you like pin them or something?" I asked.
"Yeah about that, I kind of lied. I can currently only crush small pebbles." He gave me a guilty grin.
"Useless." I growled.
Spot launched herself at me, with her increased speed it was much harder to dodge. But I still managed to avoid her claws.
"Guess we better run for it!" Jagged ran and jumped into the stands balancing on a row of seats.
"What are you doing this is a fight, fight!" I yelled at him.
"Yeah I'd actually rather not." Jagged jumped back a few more rows of seats.
I ducked as Spot tried to crush my face. Then jumped in pain, before staring down in annoyance as my fur was burning.
"Come on two against one?" I asked in annoyance, plus I can't kill one of you.
Another wave of flames launched toward my face and I rolled to the side. Now this was getting really unfair! I love it!
I leaped backwards landing on a row of seats.
"Why don't you come catch me speedy!" I howled as I danced on top of the chairs.
What do you know? All that dumb practice Snow made me do worked better than I thought it would. This body almost felt more comfortable than my own now.
The cheetah, needs some work, her speed was great but she couldn't completely control it. I watched her crash into a row of chairs. I mocked her with a wince.
"That looked painful, maybe you should do it again?" I smirked.
She hissed at me and I acted offended.
"Just some friendly advice." I commented.
She launched herself at me again and I spun sideways still perching on top of a row of chairs, and slammed my back feet into her sending it crashing through a different row.
"Those chairs might be expensive, you should stop breaking them." I purred casually. "You might get arrested for property damage."
"What are you a cop!" She hissed back.
"Just a concerned citizen." I meowed flicking my tail back and forth in amusement.
(Watch it you're talking to much.)
(Right, sorry, bad habits.)
I tilted my head sideways and beckoned her with a paw. She looked annoyed as she tossed herself at me. I dodged left and cursed as a flame melted my chair pawhold, and I rolled gracefully across the floor and back to my paws.
"Where did that fluffbrain go?" I glanced around for Jagged and saw him over heading out the exit. "Oh no you don't!"
I raced after him still avoiding the speedy annoyance. I glanced over a shoulder to check the rest of the battle.
The two smalls were in a furry tuft, Dart's little portals weren't doing much as he popped in and out of them around the little wildcat who seemed to turn invisible for small periods of time.
Pride was glowing and fighting the black panther who had.... I stared for a second, the cat literally grew wings. What, was he a bird now? I've heard of catfish, but not cat birds! Actually wait, there is a songbird commonly called a catbird. Ah! Forget it!
On the far side the mountain lion, Cal was it? Was bleeding heavily, but so was her opponent Lyra. Lyra was doing something that was slowing Cal down while each of Cal's strikes were leaving creators in the ground.
(Seems even enough, let's go get the slacker!)
(For once I agree.)
I launched myself after Jagged and down the hallway leading out of the stadium.
Behind me the cheetah and tiger pursued. They really shouldn't, they were going to witness a murder.
There has to be some way to separate the cat right? Why does killing them worry me so much? Is it just because I don't know who they are? Why is that bothering me so much today. I've killed plenty. Who cares about some nameless human who got caught up in this cat trap?
I glanced over my shoulder again as I dodged another poor strike from the cheetah. It's all the dumb tiger's fault isn't it. Putting a dumb name into my head, what if I happen to know another one of the cat's victims?
Please what are the chances!?!
