It was 3PM in the afternoon and Eva had been pacing back and forth in her room wondering, why Sarah isn't picking up her phone. She had been calling her a thousand times leaving a voicemail on with each phone calls.
Eva is a four feet eight inches tall, with a well toned body, light skin, high cheekbones and long black hair, always worn in ponytail that matches her deep hazel eyes.
Eva had known Sarah ever since she was 12 years old. Eva's family used to live in Los Angeles but due to Mr. Hamilton work they have to move. They moved in to Dean's town where Sarah lived and is apparently a thousand miles away from L.A. Shortly, after she moved in she was introduced to be Sarah's desk mate during History class in which they known each other very well and became best girlfriends.
Sarah later introduced her to Daniel and they started hanging out together.
``Oh, for God's sake, Sarah! pick up,'' she exclaimed.
``I'm so bored, let's hang out, and don't worry it's all on me,'' she continued over another voicemail.
``Oh and ask your handsome prince if he wants to tag along'', she chided over the phone.
Eva knew about Sarah and Daniel's dating, two weeks after they decided to make it official. She was happy for them, for they were the only kids that wants to be her best friend when they moved in 6 years ago.
``Eva, Mom wants you down in the kitchen,'' Jeremy, her younger brother was banging and shouting on her door.
``Okay, I'll be down in a minute and stop banging my door, you rat,'' she shout back at her annoying brother who seems to be beating the crap out of her door.
``Well, you better hurry up,'' Jeremy, who seems to be enjoying annoying his sister continued shouting over the door.
Eva stormed across the room to her door ready to smack the soul off his brother who runs off as soon as he heard Eva opening her door.
``Come here again and I will kill you,'' she shout after her brother.
``Eva Hamilton, you better watch your mouth,'' Mrs Hamilton shouted from downstairs.
Eva shut her door, imagining what Sarah's family and other neighbour's might be thinking about the loud noise and, how crazy her family was through all the shouting, yelling, arguing that never seems to end. She tried Sarah's number again and when she didn't pick up she left another voicemail and headed downstairs to help her mother prepare dinner.
After arguing about some school stuff with her parents over dinner, Eva decided to go over to Sarah's house to see why she wasn't answering her phone calls.
She packed up some of her homework, and other books to finish in case she overstayed the night at Sarah's and given the fact that she hasn't really being doing great in school. Eva didn't tell anyone about going over to Sarah's house, especially not after the argument she just had with her parents.
Mr and Mrs Hamilton had always been concerned of Eva life. They had tried their best to support their daughter through hardships in schools and letting her parents down is one thing Eva hated the most.
Eva wants to follow the steps of her older sister who is a Fashion designer at Dream Clothes Company in Los Angeles. Eva was well on her way to achieving her goals and that was to become a Model or a Fashion designer like her sister. She is always stylish compared to Sarah who doesn't seem to care whether her sneakers have the same shoe lace or how her hair looks like.
There was no easy way to escape the Hamilton's house but Eva who was so determined managed to got out through the windows leave unnoticed only to be surprised by the look of Sarah's face when she open the door. Sarah on the other hand didn't even bother to wash her face after crying so much.
It's always hurt Eva to see her best friend in tears so she started filling Sarah ears with questions and curses.
``Sarah? What happened? Oh my gosh! Did that perv just dumped you? I swear to God I'm gonna kick him in the balls,'' Eva shouted nonstop.
``Ooohhh, that pig should have known better than dumping you? Let's go and kill him right now?'' Eva continued.
``No it's not that,'' Sarah speaks up before her best friend could curse any further.
After a moment of silence, Sarah got herself together and poured the whole story to Eva who eagerly listened to every word and detail.
