"Zyaire is something wrong? You don't look so good!" Noel spoke looking at his gloomy face, Zyaire was so evidential in his expression unmasked like usual.
"Yes," he said plainly as he was hooked up with worries about the crew, as he understood their specialty was being so notorious and uncontrollable.
"Hey, man! Be vocal! What are you thinking about? Your expression is like there is a cyclone in the sea" Krith murmured irritably. Nevertheless, he didn't say anything.
"Just speak out!? What is the problem going on? Why are you gloomy?" Noel spoke again.
"Whatever Krith spoke is true. There is a sudden cyclone in the sea, and it seems it will cross the path with us." finally he said.
"It's just a cyclone man. Why worried over that?" Drey spoke not knowing the seriousness of the stormy sea.
"Did you leave your brain somewhere before coming here?" Reay scolded, "It's common to have a cyclone while sailing, why to talk that a huge thing?" Drey replied.
"It's not as simple as you say, Drey! A cyclone over the sea is very dangerous especially when you are not prepared for the worst. Many ships in the western sea went missing even over the simple tornadoes. Our ship was not that great to include." Zyaire spoke in a concerned tone.
"Don't worry Zyaire! We will overcome this. It's not that it happened because of you. So, chill up man!!" Armelle spoke patting his shoulder in a comforting tone as she noticed his energy was down.
Zyaire couldn't wink his eyes when he saw her in close proximity, making his heart pound.
"It will be good if we remain in the basement till the storm ends," Reay spoke, by the time the ship started to wiggle dramatically as no one could hold up their feet in a position.
"I wish I can watch the stormy sea…" Krith spoke holding onto the desk where she is seated.
"You crazy!! Only you can think this way idiot!! Don't you dare do it!!!" Armelle yelled at her with the utmost pitch she can shout.
"Are you born this way? Or are you grown up this way" Drey shouted, noticing her joker's face.
"**Boom!! Boom!!**" A loud tugging sound echoed as if thunder fell near them. Followed by the sound of something falling into the water with a bang.
"Did you hear that?" Krith spoke with a jerk in her voice as if she witnessed the landing of demons.
'Oh no! How come I've forgotten about this' Armelle spoke to herself as moved quickly to reach Krith to her grip.
"Guys she has astraphobia!!" Armelle shouted. "Noel hold her well from the other side! She may go berserk" Armelle instructed.
"I'll go and quickly check the situation in the captain's cabin!" Zyaire said the noise came disturbed him badly as he wanted to check the situation on the top tier.
"I'll join you," Drey said.
The downpour was so not heavy on the open blues. Nevertheless, the storm was strong enough to change the scene, the thunder and lightning along with the rain and wind made the whole scene look scary. It is a nightmare that everyone wished to never experience in their life. But fate leaves none. If you are fated, you need to face it. *Fate and face cannot be in control of anyone but God*
Soon Zyaire and Drey reached the top tier to check the situation. Reay and Noel were beside Krith calming her. It's a tough thing for Krith, she overcame anything and everything just to prove herself but not this. At this point, only the use of a tranquilizer will help her.
"Hold her tightly Reay!! I'm going to inject the tranquilizer. It's not the time to calm her with words." Armelle spoke as she prepared the needed dose of midazolam to inject her.
Yes. She is well-prepared where ever they both would go. As she is the only person who can tame her in a situation like this.
Not so later, the ship shook as if it had gone under the tsunami wave. To everyone's nightmare, the water gushed inside the basement, thank god the water didn't wet more than their ankles.
"The situation is not so good!! Let's wear a safety life jacket just in case." Noel shouted as she passed down a life jacket one for each. Although they all are veterans, it is still not so safe for them to be without a life jacket.
Krith fell asleep in a couple of minutes. Noel and Reay made her wear a life jacket and tied her tight to the cabin's seat. "Guys! Take care of her. I'll go and give the life jacket to the other." Armelle shouted in panic as another thunder blasted over the sea.
The other two left her with courage, knowing that she has a strong survival ability. Although, fate leaves the none as said. She moved to the top tier placing her feet carefully over the watery floor and balancing her body in an unstable shaky craft.
To the horror when Armelle reached the top tier, she witnessed the heavy wind blowing over the sea, the cloud was dark barely any sunlight.
Armelle was shocked to see the entire calm sea change into a horrifying nightmare in a blink of an eye. It wasn't even an hour since they get back to the ship from the lagoon. They still have more than hours of travel to reach back to the shore. She never expected that the cyclone would be such a frightful nightmare over the water.
By the time she reached the top tier, it was a calamity. Zyaire and Reay were barely holding on to the pillars and walls when she gave life jackets to the both. The captain and the helpers were already secured inside the captain's cabin. And the ship wiggled again with the roar of the sky. *Hope they get back to the shore safe*
She panicked, trying to step back while her legs lost their balance. She quickly lost the grip to stand when the ship wiggled again. The lighting blurred the vision of everyone and the heavy blowing wind made the situation worse. Another lightning struck but Armelle could be found nowhere in the place she stood before.
Zyaire and Drey witnessed as she slipped into the sea. But to no use in helping Armelle Rowan.
Zyaire searched for Armelle in the sea. But couldn't find a trace of her. There is no use in searching for her above the water but to dive inside to find her.
Zyaire took a piece of rope with a swimming ring, to make him throw himself into the sea. Drey was quick enough to get a grasp of the situation and avoided further danger. *Aww!! 😓my poor baby*.
The captain registered the complaint about missing to the coastal guards. As it would be difficult to find her in that infinite blues by themselves. Soon the heavy clouds started to pour down its content, making the search more complicated.
Hours went by, soon the heavy downpour came to an end followed by dumbing silence over the sea.
"The cyclone has passed and the rain has stopped. It is safe now!" Zyaire shouted as he rushed down to the basement. Drey informed me about Armelle's missing from the crew in the basement.
The situation is typically horrible, and the captain told them to prepare for the worst. She was a mermaid living on the land but still after witnessing the sea themselves they couldn't help themselves but prepare for the worst.
"Is there any news from coastal guards?" Noel asked worriedly. As they now stood at the top tier witnessing the calmness of the sea.
"Nope. The guards had been searching everywhere, hope will soon find her alive" Drey replied. The word 'ALIVE' hits everyone's heart. *I can't bare to see anyone hurt. But still, God knows the best*
Everyone moved out from the basement cabin to check outside, and soon they heard the loud noise from the basement.
"OH NOOOOOOO!!!!" Krith roared….
